I have compiled a list of parts I need for the front end. I went to Carquest yesterday and they told me that the Upper Control Arm is no longer made - I was like :cds: so now what?

Rockauto has them, about $120 for the 4WD front uppers, cheaper if it's RWD.

I am looking online for sources to buy four (4) 16" wheels/rims for my full size blazer. Any suggestions as to online sites with decent quality/prices? Or should I stick to local buying only? I will be selling the 15" custom wheels on it now.

What lug pattern do you have?

Looks like 6 lug, a Google search confirms 6x5.5. Since you are looking for 16" wheels you may be better off looking in the area first. I am not sure if you want a set of stock GM wheels, or aftermarket. I picked up my last 2 sets locally, one for $50, the other for $60 with some tires both off of Craigslist.

I would like something the same as I have now if possible - I like those.

Should not be an issue. As long as you are not looking at light weight drag wheels or a set of Dayton spokes then any wheel should be fine. Tires are where most of the weight handling come into play. Two things you need to check would be the backspacing and the center hub diameter. Gm uses a smaller one, while Nissan and Toyota are much larger. When i have access to my computer I can list the right diameter.

Backspacing/offset would have to be near center to be near what you have with your wheels now. Newer GM trucks have a high offset which puts the mounting pad of the wheel towards the front of the wheel, while yours is more towards the center.

I asked the person with wheels for sale if the wheels would fit my vehicle with a 6x6.5 and they said yes if I have: " 6x139.7 lugs" - how would I know what I have?

Yeah Chevy uses them. I would assume that since 1994 the rotors have been replaced at least once. Most places do not reinstall them as they are only used to keep the rotors in place on the assembly line. If they are there, a flat head screw driver and pair of vice grips or channel locks makes for an easy removal. Should be 2 per wheel.
