there are some dogs that are very alpha.... some that are submissive.... some that have no care in the world... some that have lots of prey drive (anything that moves fast and make noise)

I dont care what breed it is.... (as i will never own a pit... have no desire to ever own one.... and i have made that clear many times)

I have trained many breeds of dogs for many years and I think i have a better understanding of dog behavior in general than you ... sorry

and please feel free to come see how a pack sticks together and you may learn something...

I'm 51 years old. You think I've never owned a dog or don't know anything about them?? You know what you can do with your dog park :killingme

So the child was doing what children do, running, squeeling and playing. In my 51 years, I've also seen countless children do that around dogs without getting attacked.

How many of these stories do we need to read before you guys wake up and stop defending these natural born killers?

I can counter every post you make, it's all in how long you wanna go. :jet:

And good on ya for refusing to own one. Shows you have a lil common sense. :love:

Blame the adults for not only not supervising her but owning 7 ####ing pit/pit mixes. :yay:

let a child do that with my female hound, GSD and Malinios.... .... they will will lay a child out flat... chase her... but I cant say they wont attack her...


and it has NOTHING to do about common sense... it has all to do with what Im looking for in a dog.


and then you have not been around a wide range of dogs.... try working dog... many will do this.

and also .... maybe those dogs you have seen have been trained not to do that...( and are just pets)

And I'm pit, pit, pit because these beasts are killers whether humans are around or not. I'm sure you've seen or heard the thousands of stories about these beasts.

Yea that's it! All those dogs I saw that weren't pits were trained to be nice, non-child killing doggies. :duh: Or.....maybe they just aren't natural born killers? Gee ya think? :jet:

Weren't these dogs family pets? So much contradiction! :confused:

Then we can probably also agree that the reason we're blaming the adults who were supposed to be supervising this kid is because they should have known the dogs were dangerous and prone to attack. Otherwise, what's the big deal about the little girl going out to play with the doggies?
