A Lesbian's Deliverance

you ever considered that He does this at times?

Have you ever considered God has already stopped some from being stillborn?

ok .... and the ones he doesn't stop?

apologies, I should have said 'give me one good reason why god would make any child still born.'

again, since god knows all and what will happen (according to you), then he would be able to take the child before birth.

Ok well what if the death of that child caused the parents in greif to look for answers to seek God out and both got saved.

yeah, right.

God being God as all Sovereign and powerful has within His power to do as He pleases. What's not good about that answer? That is the definition of all-powerful and all-sovereign...

ok, I'll accept that answer and simply say that anyone or thing that wouldn't lift a finger to stop a baby from being still born is a huge choad.

If I had the power, I certainly would.

As you have said... again, I pray you will stop slandering God with your words.

They couldn't do that without a dead child?

I'm sorry (especially since you're being civil and I'm getting all uppity), but making someone look for answers by killing their child is poor form no matter how you look at it.

Was the child going to die of cancer or going to come down with MS and God spared it the pain and suffering.
Were the parents going to be killed in a car accident and the child wind up in foster care being abused all its life?
We dont know, We cant understand the mind of God
Exactly! If he'd stop using that KJV wording here, he might have understood Isaiah 57. Come on, it's almost 2008 and NO ONE speaks that way anymore.
For Xaquin44
Why didn't God just not create anyone? Then Jesus wouldn't have had to die and we wouldn't have to face old age and death. Why didn't you all stop having kids and we could have been the last generation. Why do parents have kids when there is a possibility that they will grow up evil?
Isn't there a saying: "it is better to have loved & lost than never to have loved at all"? Why are people, who can't have kids naturally, spending thousands to have them? It's all about LOVE! Stop looking at it from Scrooges view point. You're too young for that.
Tell you what Xaquin; become a Christian and then you can ask God why he did these things when you meet Him. Otherwise you might never know the answers.

As I said earlier, I can't speak for God on all His actions. Why DOESN'T He heal everyone? What about faith and the Apostle Paul? He was one of the greatest of God's converts and God didn't heal him of his affliction, so, again, I really don't know the reason for God's action on these things.

The answer to Paul was that God's grace was enough.

Prayers have three answers; yes, no, wait.

This one I can answer. Sadly, she wasn't praying to the true God so even a lot of faith in a non existent god results in nothing. Their god is NOT the Bible's God and it IS a big problem now and later. Now, having said that, I can't say for sure whether the true God would have healed the child or not.

Their god IS the god of the bible, they just have a different interpretation of the bible.

you do not know any more about god than they do.

I disagree he cant be the same God or they wouldnt teach and do things contray to his word that are very clear and in White and read or balack and white. You need to seriouslty look at what they believe, Its scarey!

Sorry Tommy, not true. YOU don't know any more about God than they do. The Bible is crystal clear about who God is. One God, revealed in 3 beings (persons) The Father, Jesus the Son & The Holy Spirit.
The JW's god is called Jehovah, one being and no more. Jesus was a created being but not Jehovah God to them and the Holy Spirit is a force and not God either. And you're right, they do have a different interpretation of the Bible but theirs is not consistent with other Scripture verses so they changed the wording to agree with their "interpretation". That's a :nono:
We've been through this many times before so say what you want but I won't keep talking on this topic for much longer since it is a repeat topic.:yay:

we only keep going over it because your position is that your interpretation is the only right one. I think that their is just as valid as the mormons wich is just as valid as the baptist which is just as valid as the catholic etc.
Just because you have a differnet interpretation doesn't mean you are talking about a different god.

and i thought it said in the old testament something along the lines of "you shall have no gods before me...." or something to that affect......

No need to keep going over it. Your opinion is meaningless, because you have absolutely no understanding of Spiritual things, because you are not of the Spirit.

You may keep flapping your proverbial lips, but nothing you say about God or the Bible has any consequence.
