Especially when the living make them look worse than they made themselves look.
:yay: I have to agree with you there. The saddest part is that she obviously made several poor decisions that day that not only ended her life but will prevent her son from having his mother there.

All in all the way this has unfolded makes me think there might have been some issues in her life that were not very mature or rational.

Well the point is plain and simple she wasn't doing anything like talking on a phone or putting on makeup she was stupied and ran a red light simple as that.
There is no way you can not see a concrete truck directly in front of you if you're paying attention to what you're doing

The memorials are ok for a week or two but not for YEARS!!

No, I do agree with that.. There is a point in time where ppl just need to move on.. And yes I think that the morning stage is was past due...

There is a white cross on a tree on Mattapani (however you spell that) That says Josh on one side and John on the other. I dont know how long its been there but all it makes me think is. " I bet they were some teens drving like AZZes down this road and hit this tree"

You dont run red lights, You pay attention when your driving, You dont drive like an AZZ on a road like that.
That's one of the stretches of road I try to be careful with, the cross on that tree only reinforces that everyday. That's a pretty effed up road considering the narrowness, the multiple dump trucks that go down it, and the irregular bumps and curves.

I am still stuck on the two hours late thing. Had she not called her boss at this point? If I was late alot as you indicated about her I wouldn't think I would have a job if I was two hours late.

No, I wouldn't. I would think that if I killed myself there would be no one to take care of him at all.

I am sure she was not thinking. Gosh let me run this light so I can get killed... It was just a very bad judgment on her part that took her life...

You would probably think differently if you were a single mom taking care of a son who had brain surgery and this was your meal ticket to live.

That has to be the dumbist comment of the day in regards to this thread.

Yep that is a nasty road, I see college kids walking, running, and all that on that road all the time, and all I can think is, S#it one day someone is gunna run someone over. There is one girl that runs down it almost everyday. Shes a brave one!

Yep, the driver was being stupid racing down the road trying to get back to campus after (I think it was winter break) break, and wrapped his car around a tree.. THAT is one road you don't want to go racing down in summer, let alone in the winter time.

If it's the same girl I see everyday, she's a minx.:wench:

Anyways, you could really hit one of those bumps in the road wrong and go flying. Especially in a low car like mine, a firebird.

Her boyfriend was one of the mangers so he was covering for and started her opening work for her so it was no big deal till we opened and she still wasn't there.

Got one for everyone. Up north on 5 where that dump truck ran into that car full of kids because he couldnt stop. They pulled out in front of him and he hit his breaks HARD you could see his tracks. He couldnt stop....There was a memorial there too. Like I said If i were that family I wouldnt put that there for people to see. I for one felt bad for the driver of that truck who had to hit that car because he couldnt stop. They didnt look and pulled out and got hit. Their fault.

You don't seriously believe that a waitressing gig at Outback is going to be a "meal ticket to life", do you? By the way, I loved the pun.
