I'm not a doctor, but I play one with my LW, and I concur with Gilligan's prophylaxis regimen.
(Although, I do run 2 miles every morning)
I’m walking from my bedroom to office at least 2x /day. (Almost 200 feet each way ) AND my boss has a pretty liberable view on the whole drinking while working issue. Rumor is he wont be supporting any toking while working though.

Wow. I walk about 200' to work and my boss does not care if I'm drinking beer at my desk either. It's more common than I thought!

My boss is a real prince..nicest guy I'll ever meet..

Actually? It's the body's ability to produce vitamin D when sunlight is exposed to the skin. Which, begins around the spring equinox time-frame, and ends around the fall equinox time-frame. That allows the body to ward off bugs, of all types. That is why the flu, or regular flu, any flu, colds, and many other ailments, pickup in the later fall, to winter season, and begin to end in spring. So, to help yourself, around mid-day, lay out in the sun, with as much skin exposed as you can, and get some sun to produce your very own internal medicine.

The place I get my hair cut just closed for two weeks.
Jerry's Place may have to close their doors. Said payroll is their biggest expense and told workers to think about applying for unemployment. I would imagine this was directed towards servers since they are only doing carry out at the moment.

Also, what a lot of people don't realize is that when someone collects unemployment, this small business will likely see a huge increase in their rates for the next two years.

Belks closed yesterday too for a couple of weeks. Jerry's Place is on the other side of the bridge near a tire store or something? They don't mean for good though right? I've read that they have really good food.
Yes by Mr Tire. Hopefully just temporarily but I don't know.

This is why getting a job at my current place of employment is almost as secure as working for the Fed. One of the reasons I'm happy to have other options.

That would really suck if places have to go out of business over this. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around what at the moment seems like a Last Stand scenario coming to real life but I guess it's true.
They said they are trying to get by with just carry out. Business is usually good so hopefully people continue to support them by using the carry out option.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that some rules like the above may be suspended for this case. It really is unprecedented and unforeseen that the entire country shuts down.

What makes it especially bad is that it's open-ended right now (I expect school closures to be extended another two weeks. The upside to that is that it will give people another reason to bitch about teachers).

I suspect you are right. Got a robo call from school saying for anyone that doesn't have a computer or access to internet to contact them. Figure that is a precursor to online schooling for the time being.

What's also going to hurt local businesses is that their customers are out of work and can't afford to patronize them. When you're worried about how to keep a roof over your head, Jerry's seafood isn't a consideration.

Leave it to government to make the cure worse than the disease.

yep..huge increase. It seems like they want to recoup every penny paid out within a very short period afterward.. Unemployment benefits can cause a crippling impact to the business they were claimed against, farther downstream.

Panic? Did something happen?
I’m still trying to figure out if Paul McCartney or Donald Fegan is the better composer/writer.
