I was looking at my old event tickets and some have it spelled one way, some the other. I never bought the music so I can't look at the album cover. I knew a chick that lived in Pinefield at the time - she was one of their groupies. She had interesting stories. :lol:

I have all their albums up to 'Blow My Fuse'. It's Kix. :wink:

Ahhh the memories.........Club Sunrise. I used to go see them with a girlfriend that was pretty wild and crazy, and one time went to a party afterwards in their hotel room. The lead singer grabbed me and started kissing me, I ran out of there sooo fast and never went to see them play again. :killingme

I think I was in maybe 9th grade when they were popular. We still have a cassette tape of them. :lmao: Those were the good old days.

I just heard Kix this morning on Sirius Hair Nation--I LOVE that station...

I remember going to Hammerjacks ONCE, I was like 15, had never done anything of the sort, we all told my dad we were staying at a friends house and she was going to cover for us. Well apparently my dad couldn't find his favorite Hoodie and called to see if I knew where it was, well this was before cell phones of course. So coming home at 4ish my dad is sitting in the bowling alley parking lot waiting for us to drive by, and he surely pulled us over just like a cop....BUSTED!! I never went back to Hammerjacks after that :killingme

They are playing at Jaxx on the 16th. Go to Jaxxroxx.com and check out the upcoming dates. There are four bands, Kix being the last to go on around 12:00 a.m. Last time I went we got a hotel room so we could enjoy the night and not have to drive. Had a killer breakfast the next day, went home, slept it off. My neck ached for a week! Check out my friends bands website frankieandtheactions.com - they will be going on right before Kix.

Didn't a guy named Harry used to be the original singer for Frankie And The Actions? He was a heavier built guy with long dark hair.
