** SO- the guy hacking the deer head had a Neon - if he WERE hunting - he couldn't carry a carcass in it - therefore SHOULD he have a gun????

wouldn't that cause additional concern?
I've seen dead deer strapped to the front end of VW's.. so a neon, shouldn't be a problem, though I doubt the car would make it over the bridge..

besides, that's why God made Cell Phones and friends with Pick-up trucks..

AND throwing crap filled diapers out in a parking lot is in violation of a few laws.. the least of which would be littering..

Nothing wrong with a rifle in your possession - AT ALL! And perception is it - on the nose! The picture painted, as we've all discussed, has indicated that the action taken place may have not been inappropriate, but WHERE it took place deemed it so. Like so many things. Things you've just written. Throwing away dirty diapers is not inappropriate - throwing them away in a public parking lot is. Throwing them away in a public parking lot in with additional non-grooving factors - like booze bottles on the ground - it's legal to drink- just not while driving

I'm thinking he was a hunter, therefore the interest in the antlers. Possibly not hunting at the time or maybe on his way to or from a hunt. The Neon is a problem, but I'll bet you could get a deer in the trunk if you had to. Or strap it across the hood and drive up and down 235 for the benifit of the non hunters. More likely he had been with a group that had been hunting somewhere. As far as cutting it up by the road. That was an act that probably took all of five minutes so I really doubt a lot of people got a chance to see it and get offended. Shouldn't they be watching the road anyway?

I know nothing
Went up to Waldorf on Sat with the Fam to get some furniture. I think we counted 10 dead deer splattered on the roads. took 235 down to Mattawoman, over to 5. Then came back to same way, turned down 231 (benedict bridge) over to 4 and head back towards Solomons, stopping over at the Brother In-Laws.

They were all over the place. Guts spilling out, legs missing, heads flatened.... One was even ripped in half.

I hope all the drivers made it through unharmed.

Oh and a couple skunks, rabbits and a dog or 2.

And they can make it more interesting by mounting him to the hood a$$ first, sticking a flashlight up his butt and driving around with 3 headlights...

If I keep up the smoking, cow eating and cussing - I should live to a very ripe old age - and just crotchety enough to get away with murder!

I don't remember you ever giving up a debare that easily..

Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. I really don't give a rat's ass about this issue. I approve whole heartedly of guns and understand hunting. I also understand nature and such. I completely empathize with the mens' sacks getting bunched and being protective over the angles and rights and the needs to provide hypothesis and argument so that all may see a different view.

But, again. I really don't give a rat's ass. I was simply trying to avoid getting some stuff done today. That being my primary goal, I will say that I've had a very accomplished day!!

I will say, that I would do what I would do in the same situation - as it struck me at the time. That is MY nature. I'd probabaly call someone who hunts or Kyle and ask what that was indicative of and ask their opinion. And then of course, post about it! :lmao:

But, this has been informative - if not the visual disgusting! :yay:
