tommys logic says they dont and that neither do you. Its just the made up thing that you need to believe to feel superior to animals and others, not to mention with out it your whole idea of heaven and hell fall flat

My faith is far greater than any belief you or me will ever have. Ever see a gay animal?....probably not........only MAN is given free will and we alone decide what to do with it.....good or evil.

My dog has the choice to come when i call her, to roll in dead fish, and to shiat where she wants, how is that not having free will?

so, that she still makes the choice. i have seen that one with my own eyes. Dogs can be particular about who they will mate with. As all animals can be.
you still haven't explained how she does not have free will.

Yes I have seen gay behavior in animals. So have you if you own a dog. Homosexual behaviour is seen in the animal kingdom from dolphins to horses.

My question based upon your answer here to Toppick is whether you believe humans even are on a higher plain than a chicken or a mosquito. I believe we are, and I believe the soul is the difference. What do you believe? Is it any more morally (sorry for using that word, but it fits) wrong to kill your neighbor than to kill the cow for your hamburger and leather shoes?

just because we think of ourselves as being on a higher plain doesn't mean that we have a soul AND that animals dont. it just means that in our society it is accptable to kill animals for sustinence, and humans only in defense.
Although, think about the stories of the donner party or moby dick. The people in those stories ate each other, and in the case of moby dick, actually drew straws to see who would be sacrificed to ensure the survival of the others..... did they go to hell because they killed and ate something with a soul?

You've got the cart before the horse, there. We're on a higher plain BECAUSE we have a soul. I'm not saying that because we think we're on a higher plain we must have a soul, it's the other way around.
I'm not qualified to judge that. However, I would have starved to death, personally.
