Just sneakin' around....
There's a whole series of these, "Brits Try .... For the First Time". Popeyes, BBQ, etc... All pretty eye-opening.

Brother in law is in town, making something with bacon, eggs, onions, tomato and whatever else is around. I think he plans to serve them on pop in fresh dough biscuits.

Good on him - if my wife were up she'd insist on cheese - making a mess and ensuring that ONE member of the household wouldn't touch it.

Made sausage gravy and biscuits the other morning mainly for a couple I know because the husband loves it. They always give me vegetables from their garden.

This morning the Mrs. handed me a bag with a couple freshly baked glazed blueberry donuts. Can't wait for coffee to stop brewing.....

You're a man of the world with many appetites including eating bell peppers.

Have you ever eaten or tried deep fried bell pepper rings?

We went out to Sandgates for crabs yesterday which made me nostalgia for Baltimore and Gunnings (old restaurant in Baltimore). One of their menu items that supposedly was the most popular, was deep fried green pepper rings. I ate there at least a billion times back in the day and never heard of them. Found a recipe, wondered if it was worth it. I don't like green peppers but deep fried anything is my favorite flavor.

never had them. But I pretty much enjoy every variation of pepper out there.

I’ll have to give them a try if I see them somewhere.
