Breastfeeding in public....nothing wrong with it. It doesnt matter if the person is 300 lbs or 100 lbs. I had a forgien guy ask me one day to not breastfeed my child at a pool. Keep in mind i was covered and you could only see kiddos feet. no one should be asked to go somewhere else or not do it at all.

THIS is the point I'm trying to make, that these Mommies don't seem to be getting. IF the restaurant patrons complained to the manager, I DO NOT believe this woman was being discrete. I can only assume, given the details of the story, that she was flopping the old boob out there for the world to see, in order to cause a problem and not just to feed the baby.

Boob flopping is socially unacceptable. And if you say to hell with everyone else and do it anyway, people will think you're a low-rent redneck. Those are the consequences you face when you behave in a socially unacceptable manner.

There are ways of being discreet about it. I have no issues as long as the are not Boob Flopping (ala Vrai). My sister-in-law was breast feeding her youngest at Christmas for 15 minutes before I realized she was...

To feed my kid? Yes I would breastfeed. I have never seen a boob flopper before. I have never seen the "insulting breast". Why are people gawking at this woman who is feeding her baby? Common curtesy is to look the other way if it makes your uncomfortable. Don't stare looking for a hint of nip :shrug:

Again, I have no problem with discrete public breastfeeding. Half the time you're not even aware it's going on unless you're staring (which is rude). It's the ones that whip out the boob and make a big production out of it, then get pissed when people object, that I take exception to.

I don't know if I can be anymore clear than that.
