You all are great, thanks. I am now dehydrated and completly overwhelmed by your responses. Thank you.
I'm glad I read this all at home and not at work.
I have cried off and on all day. We must remember that Melly met death on her own terms. She was prepared. It is my selfishness....I wanted her to stay with me longer because I needed her.

I'm sure most of you know by now that my beloved wife passed away a little over a month ago. Married almost twentynine years. She fought a very brave battle with at least 4 types of cancer for about sixteen months. She was the most loving, caring and life loving person I have ever known. I will forever miss her, but I am also glad her suffering is over and it was much quicker than it might have been. I love you, baby. Enjoy your eternal perfect beach.
A few pix.

DR, I am so sorry for your loss. I never got the chance to meet her but always enjoyed her posts and a few PM's. She always lived up to "the nicest" on the forums. I admired her candidness about her battle with cancer. Thank you so much for sharing the pictures and putting a face with the name. Sending out prayers for God to help you though this time of grief and I'm sure that BS Gal is right beside Him making sure that He takes especially good care of you.
Hey, Vrai, is there any way to "retire" BS Gal's avatar? In my mind, anyway, (and I"m sure in others' minds) it will be forever linked with her.
May God be with you and your family DR.

Oh, man I hope she can see all this caring. I barely can.![]()
I saw a post of hers the other day and noticed she is still Premo. I think retiring her name/av would be a nice little forum memorial.Hey, Vrai, is there any way to "retire" BS Gal's avatar?
I agree! It's a great Av - and will always be BSGal's.

DR, man-for you. I hope you are coming through this okay. This thread alone makes it obvious that her personality was infectious, even among those who did not know her personally. She gave us all some great laughs, on and off the forums.
I know she loved the one of the horses.Yep, (she loved your photos)
I, uh, have to leave the room for a minute. Dang tear... stuff in my eye.And I realize now more than ever you don't know what you have until it just is not there anymore.
If you have someone you love, any of you, let them know you do every single moment.
