"Hot Goalie" finally we have one. Caps played good, its great to get scoring from other lines and especially from the defensive guys. Lindquist has had 2 bad games in a row, and 3 of 4, sure hope he doesnt come out of his slump. Think maybe the Caps have learned from last years collaspe against Flyers and will really come out flying for game 7. GO CAPS
Anyone know of a good realtor for Theodore, (he's had a nice garage makeover :killingme )think maybe he will be out of here, he wont like being the backup guy and is proably pissed about what has happened to him in these playoffs and will demand a trade.

I said long time ago Theo wasn't the answer. Congrats the Caps looked strong yesterday but don't get to happy to fast about your rookie netminder just yet. Reason I say this is because he isn't facing a strong offensive team yet. 20 shots a game means he isn't really being tested yet. Nice hit Brashear you dirtball.

I see Theo being back next year as the back-up. He still has 1 more year on his deal worth 4.5 mil and I just don't see the Caps shelling out the 3 mil to buy him out.

Thats very true Mr Forsberg, in all my excitement about our rookie, I did overlook that the Rangers are one of the lowest scoring teams in hockey and has no real goal scorer. WHEN we advance, and if we should play Pittsburg then that will be the real test.
I think if New Jersey wins game 7 against Carolina, we will be playing the Devils and if Carolina wins we get Penquins, we will have home ice advantage no matter which one of those we play.

Thats proably what the Caps are thinking also, but he might be pissed about his benching in the playoffs and ask's or demand's to be traded. Caps would proably like to keep him around one more year to get Neuvirth more experince. Then the Caps will be in a great situation 2 really young, good goaltenders and a slew of young players both here and in Hershey. :yahoo:

Be nice Beaver Boy dont be popping in here from your nest with your fury little head and start talking trash.:smack: We have had nice conversations with our 2 Philly fans (Mr. Peter Forsberg and his Lordship Stanley) during these playoffs and Im quite sure that they will be rooting for the Caps to advance and hopefully play Pittsburgh and to win that round to get some bittersweet revenge against them.:buddies:

Speaking of which, he is tearing it up for the Hershey Bears in their playoffs, leading them to a sweep of the Philadelphia Phantoms (Flyers minor league team), next up - the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh's minor league team). Go Caps, Go Bears! :yahoo:

Caps future looks really great with the talent they have at Hershey. Maybe a few years back (4-5 years now) when they purged all the high price stars and got draft picks from other teams, its now paying off, and also a couple of sorry years which unabled them to get the #1 pick and get OVIE. :yahoo:

Sorry I'm late. The last two games left me breathless and unable to post until now. I am proud of the way the Caps have stepped up and turned the tables on Lundqvist and the NYR; amused at the turn of events over the weekend (Avery, Torts); baffled but not surprised by the crappy and biased officiating; happy the secondary and Ovie have (finally) started scoring; and completely in awe of Ovie's offensive AND defensive skills. And.....I am ready to adopt Varly.

LET'S GO CAPS!!! :yahoo:
