I know I don't spend over $1200 a month for commuting.

No, sh!t! I spend $70 (minimum) a week in gas; that's roughly $300 per month. Not to mention repairs, insurance, etc.

I just had a coworker redo mine....it's just like your's Dem. I keyed the number of days work per week and they wanted per month. I thinks it's wrong. I know I don't spend over $1200 a month for commuting.

that's what I was thinking... it just can't be right maybe its a scare tactic to convince "commuters" to carpool or something :shrug:

80 miles ROUNDTRIP
and 220.00 a month for parking
the other two questions, I used their defaults.

I calculated it all manually...the cost of gas per month (for Dems) is $186.
The cost for insurance, depreciation, etc...$1008 per month

I think it's safe to say that the numbers they put in by default are...faulty.

$1,493.88 per month if I was driving the 160 miles (round trip) per day to Rockville. I cut the financing in half bc the truck is paid for.

$289.44 per month actual when I figure staying in the hotel (paid by others).

Sounds about right. I put in avg. $45.00/week in gas ($180.00/mth) so the other $109.00 goes to ins. & maint.
