Just saw this update:

Scarsdale Patch, NY - Updated: Rye Brook Police Shoot and Kill Coyote After Attempted Attacks on Teenager and Toddler

A Rye Brook police officer shot and killed a coyote this morning in the rear yard of a home on 257 North Ridge Street, according to Rye Brook police Sgt. Rich Carroll. The coyote was likely involved in two attempted attacks on young children in the village on Sunday night.

Coyotes aren't much of a problem, its those dang cougars.
