because you can be BOTH pro-choice and pro-abortion...and technically, thought i'm not sure how it would work, you could be both pro-choice and pro-life...but you do not have to be pro-abortion to be pro-choice.
basically, someone can be pro-choice JUST because they are "an american" and don't want to see someone's right to choose taken away. That does not mean they support abortion per se, but they support the laws that are allowing someone to make the decision based on their own circumstances, not making them be FORCED to have a child they don't want.

Who forces someone to have sex? 'Cuz, the scientists have figured out where that whole pregnancy comes from nowadays. You make the "choice" to have a child when you have sex, not after you're pregnant. At least, you make the choice to risk having a child.That does not mean they support abortion per se, but they support the laws that are allowing someone to make the decision based on their own circumstances, not making them be FORCED to have a child they don't want.

After that, the choice is to murder the child, or not. Allowing someone that choice is, frankly, insane. I mean, why not allow it up 'til the kid is 18? (hint: I know the answer is that it's murder. It's the same answer after the mother is pregnant)

Rape is a crime, and accounts for less than 1% of abortion. Murder is a crime too, to answer your question about "choice".that mass of tissue has less intelligence than an ant.

If intelligence is the issue, is it okay to kill dumb people? Or, those with severe mental problems? Is that just "choice"?

Abortion is murder.
It is allowed for the same reason capital punishment is, tho it is also murder.
If having sex means you must want/have a baby, then supporting capital execution means you support murder ( to yr line of thinking). When a felon murders another person, it dont mean he wants to be executed...

I didn't see any remorse at all on that man's face for throwing those four little children to their deaths. What could they possibly have done wrong to deserve this except for exist? He has to be totally heartless to do such a thing. The more I read of things like this the more convinced I am that Satan is alive and well and walking the earth in the guise of these cold-hearted monsters.

This is amazing. What is the world coming to. They say things come in three's but this is sick and very devastating. May all of their souls be at peace.
This goes back to what I was saying the other day about how chidlren are allowed to just leave the hospital and go home with parents without any question to their mental health. Not to say that people can't snap later but there really are some parents who don't need to be parents. At the same time these people don't need to be around anyone.

One difference is that those children can live outside of the womb on their own. An embryo or unfully develioped fetus can not survive on it's own without a miracle (no machines). However, the parents decision (though late) and more so the father's decision to not keep the children (afterall?) is the same end result.
