Why go if you don't want to go?

Wife wanted to go, daughter wanted to go, girlfriends wanted to go. Dads, husbands and boyfriends do things they don’t want to do all of the time

Saturday I made scallops in a butter, lemon, wine sauce with a few capers. Served with sauteed spinach and jasmine rice. Sunday I put a roast in the crock pot with carrots and onions and beef broth. Served with egg noodles and biscuits. Leftovers tonight. Whats everybody making for the Superbowl? Depending upon the weather, its either going to be bean soup or steaks on the grill.

Thai Lemongrass Soup

Decided I wanted to try to make something different, so I tried to emulate the lemongrass soup from Thai Inter. Looked up a few recipes online, then adapted. So simple, fast and really good. The only thing I didn't use was spicy chili peppers. Heat vegetable broth, add a couple diced...

Anything's a possibility tonight. Broke a glass not five minutes after I got home. Have a shard of glass in my foot that I can't find. Couldn't get my bra off. Can't find my pajama bottoms.

Had to run out a pick up a script and deliver to Mommy Dearest ,so she treated me to some kind of pork chop skillet thing with sliced potatoes, onions, and baby carrots. It's the closest I've come to a real meal all week.
