I wanted clam chowder or Wing Stop but didn't feel like going out. So I made a BLT. And then I made a pastrami and swiss mini wrap. And now I'm thinking about a yogurt.

They were frozen and I just thawed them out. I HOPE they were cooked or I'm in big trouble - I already ate two little sandwiches. They should have been cooked right? I would have noticed if they were raw. I think.

Tomorrow's creation will be homemade beef barley vegetable soup and hard crust rolls. The leftovers will be going to the kids' place this weekend. It's always better after it sits a day or two in the fridge so the flavors co-mingle. They miss the old man's cooking.

Oh crap! That is tomorrow, isn't it? Yes, going to do my very best to be there. Hopefully not formal. I don't own formal, or ever semi, anymore. Since I left PAX, I donated all my '"good" clothes except for wedding/funeral duds. Pretty much the same outfit and occasion. I guess the kids will eat VERY well this weekend.

I will try to get there before Ben starts and get a table at the bar but that might not be possible. He has a lot of followers (or groupies- most of which appear to be in their 60's and 70's LOL)
I will send you a PM tomorrow with what I will be wearing. I know Gilligan and his lovely wife and Beachcat will be there and I have some other friends (non forumites) that are coming too. But you never know who else might pop in (old gatherings often had 15 or more people that just showed up!)
