Does anyone know what's going on around the Lexington Park Post Office?

That is what has me , there has to be "something" else there.

The Judiciary Case Search shows the 22-year old hasn’t had any dealings with law enforcement in the past.

It will be interesting to see this pan out.
Who knows the what or why that set the attack off, but to start with a strike using a golf club and then take a knife to what I am sure was at that time an incapacitated victim is simply brutal and deserving of our harshest punishment. The nature of this attack does not lead me to believe that the culprit was anything close to nice.

I don't believe the culprit was "nice" either and never said such a thing. Susan Smith never had any dealings with law enforcement either but that didn’t stop her from murdering her 2 children and lying to the police.

The purpose of my post was that as it sits now, there could be more to this than what we see at this point. Then again, maybe not!

Sorry if you thought I implied that you had said he was nice, I don't think I did nor was it my intent. I was just tossing my 2 cents out there that the nature of this crime, for me, indicates a brutally cruel individual that was intent on killing the victim and that is what he did. This young man is either pure evil or mentally ill, and the why he did it will eventually come out, but I don't see how anything could justify what he did.

My condolences to the family...how very tragic. I know first hand how very hard the future will be for the Choporis family.

"A dispute began between the two and Potts struck Choporis in the head with a golf club before delivering several stab wounds, including one mortal wound to the neck, St. Mary’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) commander Lt. Daniel Alioto told The Bay Net."

I wonder if Nick made par.

So you're saying he tee'd up, swung, and sliced it?

Can the caddy give us any insight as to what happened?

But, do you think that maybe there could be some deep hatred in this 22-year-old kid that could have dated back to when he was 8-9 and his mother 1st started dating this man? What if he was a victim of sexual abuse? Remember, sex offenders are some of the nicest people around; you’d never have a clue.

Physical abuse towards him mother?

Maybe, this 22-year-old kid is a drug user?

I’m not saying that is what happened, but right now the facts are not out and once they are, there could be a great deal of gray matter in between.

ALMOST as insensitive as saying how nice the guy is that killed him??/

I said that he was ONCE a nice person. Obviously not anymore. I agree that he should get the HARSHEST punishment, and that there is NO excuse for what was done, even if there was drugs or abuse involved.

Would pot "make" somebody kill, though? I say no.
Ok Mr Freud, what DOES make one kill?

And I think he was just pointing out that Nick DID have a criminal record.

Oh, I agree --- I don't think pot would do that. I was just commenting on Pandora's post that Potts had never had a brush with the law....
