:buddies: Yes, everybody gets saved.

That nonsense about burning people in Hell is just to scare people and it was never true or accurate.

God and Christ said they will save even the worst of their enemies link HERE.

Jesus paid the penalty in full for everybody so salvation for all is done at the cross already.

:shortbus:

That verse doesn't have anything to do with what you are saying. JPC, I truely feel sorry for you in the belief you have. You truely believe this. Does it not seem odd to you that NO ONE else agrees with you? Seriously, open your mind to other possibilities. It is in your best interest.

I'm blind! Read the whole thing! That's just an excuse to be an a-hole.
If he doesn't believe this way, he knows he'll either have to actually repent for his decades of immoral actions, or he'll go to hell. He can't or won't change his ways, so his only option is to blind himself to truth. That way, he no longer needs to take any responsibility for his actions.

:diva: Why do you not speak for yourself?

Is it that you do not know who Charles Stanley is?

or you have no personal beliefs of your own? :shortbus:

Come hear Fred preach sometime. :yay:

JPC doesn't pay attention to the preaching especially when it contradicts his own inane beliefs. Our pastors, both of them, told him personally face to face and, when he refused to change his "everybody gets saved" junk, from the pulpit. He still refuses to recognize the Spiritual authority of the Bible except for what he picks and chooses out of context or with his deluded interpretation.

Perhaps JPC sr has not yet read about the "Lamb's Book of Life" as mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Jesus (The Lamb of God) speaks of those whose names will be blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life for their willful unbelief.

My understanding of this is that all people who have ever been born into this world have their name written in God's roster of mankind. Those who willingly chose to follow Satan's deception and reject God's provision of Salvation through Yeshua HaMashiach will have their names blotted out of the Book of Life.

Names being blotted out of the Lambs Book of Life means that not all people will be saved.

God Did For Mankind What Abraham Was Going To Do For God.
It's just that people reject God's Offer and believe they can work their own way to heaven without a Saviour.

JPC has been shown those passages. He doesn't believe the Bible. He only believes what he picks from the Bible.

JPC sr needs lots of prayer. Perhaps his idea that all people get saved is his way of "hoping" that for all he has done he will still be included among those who actually have received personal Salvation through Yeshua.

JPC needs to know that while God's Plan of Salvation is through Yeshua, God's Forgiveness requires an action of willful repentance and invitation for Yeshua to become his personal Lord and Saviour.

JPC: Salvation is an offer to all but it is not a blanket guarantee for all!

For example: A horse can be led to water and yet die of thirst if it does not drink the water that is in front of it. Just being near the water does not quench the horse's thirst. Thus, a personal commitment of faith in Yeshua HaMashiach must be arrived at and it must be personally requested by renouncing your personal desires of the world and inviting Yeshua into your life to be your Lord and Saviour. You need to drink of the Living Water!

When you are forgiven by God, you must also learn to forgive yourself and allow the Holy Spirit of God to begin to teach you with the wisdom of God's guidance for your personal life.

You and your family are in my prayers JPC sr.

:buddies: So do you like Charles Stanley?

I go to the Lex Park Baptist Church some times and I like the music there.

:shortbus:

I like some of what Charles Stanley has to say. I go to Life Community Church of God on Chancellor's Run Road. I am Pentecostal. You're more than welcome to come visit us any time but Pastor Shepard doesn't preach what you believe either.

:diva: I like the Pentecostal Church and I use to go often to the one on Midway near my home,

but 2A went there and caused trouble for me at that church so I had to stop going there.

I still like the Church there and the Pastor (and his family) are very respected by me.

:diva: I would prefer to burn in Hell with my fellow sinners,

then to live in Heaven with an un-merciful God. :shortbus:

You have no clue what hell is then.
God is merciful, but you have to make the choice to follow. That's the whole point.

:coffee: It simply does not wotk both ways.

We can not have a "merciful God" and "love thy enemies" with sinners burning in a Hell at the same time.

This is why people say there are contradictions in Christianity because Jesus said one way (love and charity) while Christians preach pain and violence.

And if it is a matter of choice then I will burn with my fellow sinners before bowing to a tyrant God.

Here is the Bible truth link HERE and do you not suppose He would rain on us in Hell too? as Christ said.

We deserve Hell for our sins but we can attain Heaven by repenting and choosing God. That is mercy. Jesus Himself threw the moneychangers out of the temple for their unGodly actions and only accepted one of the two thieves who died with him as going to Heaven with Him - the one who accepted Him. God destroyed the world by flood for the actions of the people - all but one family. He is just but He gave us the 10 Commandments to follow - not the 10 suggestions of how to behave and if you don't it's okay 'cuz you can go to Heaven anyway. Come on JPC, you know it's true.

This tells me you don't believe in free will. God is not going to force you to believe in him. Why would he call people to Heaven to be with him that don't want anything to do with him? Its all about your choice, your personal responsibility. Another thing, would a God who forces you to believe in Him really be considered merciful to you? How about this...the truth is, you don't like the idea of hell, because it makes you uncomfortable. True?

Hell would mean that all of us have to be responsible for our actions. We would have to fess up when we've done wrong. You don't like that idea, do you?
