IMHO, stop looking at the Amish animals for sale. I don't. I know that they do not vaccinate, de-worm or any of the half a million other things that we expect. Even if you were to get an animal there, it has a low chance of surviving / not infecting your other animals / etc.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read this thread. I pretty sure they weren't offering those puppies for free. The best way to stop this kind of puppymilling is not to buy from them. Same goes for the ones at the farmers market. If there's not a market/profit in it hopefully one day it'll stop. I'm sure even the Amish are looking for some sort of profit. I find it hard to believe these are accidental breedings. Unitl people are willing to pay for a legitment rescue or breeder this kind of thing will continue. And Stardog you were 100% right in voicing your concerns to them.
