"Fill your hands you SOB!
It was "the big one" cause every fire department in St. Mary's County, including Ridge, sent apparatus to the scene in addition to all of Charles County.

When it's just a surround and drown kind of fire DNA problems don't happen:lol:

WTH is a Magnolia bog? I've never heard of it, and I've lived 30 years without one. Why should I care about one now?

Who pays?

Assuming that some of those homes were already under contract...and the rest were "showcase" homes up for sale...when they went snap, crackle and pop.....who pays?
If the developer skimped on the insurance, he'll likely go crying to the county/state for relief. If there was no insurance: he's Broke!!!

No matter who pays...it will make builders more jittery (and get more coverage)...which they will tack on to the price of the house.

I have no sympathy for the builders & their pack of lawyers....I do feel sorry for the small time contractors who lost tools & contracts-Christmas could be grim for them.

I am highly curious if they can get some suspects. (CSI La Plata?)

Some people have a reallyweird sense of humor?

I really don't see anything at all funny in this situation. In the long run, it may affect a lot more than just the buyers, sellers, developers, contractors, etc. The residual effects may be widespread.

So, stop laughing. It could have been you.

:bawl: UFB the video footage is just UFB :bawl: More than 10 acres destroyed by fire. Thank God nobody was hurt. I use to fish right near that place, my DH took me fishing there in high school, just right next store, grew up just 4 miles from there. :bawl:

My dad said the smell around the area is just horrible and the sky is hazy. How could anybody think this act would prove any point.

I hope when they catch the punks that started the fires they charge them with terrorism. They need to go away for a very long time.

My neighbor works for one of the companies that lost 8 houses. He said that every house in the 'hood had accelerant in it. The company that lost the most houses is a sister company to his. 42 houses were damaged in some fashion. Only 1 house was occupied. Many were set to go to settlement.

We heard here they are just letting them burn and only there to keep them from spreading.

Fire department never just lets things burn. It's our job to put them out.
