Rashida Tlaib Urges Nation To Resist Commercialization Of Day Of Jihad And Remember The True Spirit Of The Holiday

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Amidst the joy and excitement surrounding the Global Day of Jihad, Congressional Representative Rashida Tlaib gave a rousing speech on the capitol steps in which she called for supporters to remember the true spirit of the holiday, which is to murder Jews.

"I know we're all excited, but we cannot forget the true meaning of the Global Day of Jihad, which is to commit genocide," Tlaib passionately argued. "We must fight the commercialization of this great day! So I say no more Hallmark cards, no more Jihad lights, and no more presents — unless they explode."

She needs to be relieved from her post. Like now.

BYSTANDERS TO ATTEMPTED GENOCIDE

There is no doubt that if they can, the Palestinians and their Iranian allies will kill every Jew in the State of Israel. That is their oft-stated goal. On Saturday night, Gaza’s military took a step in the direction of genocide by massacring 900 or more Israelis, most of them women and children. All normal people have been horrified by the video and photographic evidence of the horrors that were perpetrated by Palestinians.

But some in the West were weirdly unmoved. The Biden Administration twice called for a cease-fire before deleting those tweets. Barack Obama was silent for several days. Many Democrats have remained quiet up to the present, and in some cases have actually expressed support for Hamas. The Democratic Socialists of America have rallied on behalf of the Gazans’ mass murder. Harvard couldn’t bestir itself to condemn the Palestinians’ attempt at genocide, and dozens of student groups there expressed approval of mass murder.

Other “mainstream” organizations have likewise been AWOL. It is a long list, but let me point out just one: the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest Lutheran group in the U.S. Like the other “mainstream” Protestant denominations, the ELCA has been drifting leftward for a long time. Still, you would think this is an easy call. What would Jesus think about murdering, raping, torturing, injuring, abducting and imprisoning thousands of innocent people? Not a hard question to answer, one would think.

But apparently the leaders of the ELCA don’t see it that way. Their web site does not include even a pro forma objection to the Gazans’ rampage. It does, however, prominently feature a video by Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton titled “Why I am Against Christian Nationalism.” Those “Christian Nationalists,” whoever they might be, are the real enemy!

The ELCA’s News feed contains no reference to the massacre in Israel. However, Bishop Eaton has recently commented on events in the Middle East. She released a Statement Concerning Jenin Incursions on July 5. That statement is consistent with past pronouncements by the ELCA, which always demonize Israel:
Bishop Eaton finally put out a statement. She's covering all the bases.

🔥 The Harvard Crimson ran a breaking story yesterday headlined, “Harvard President Claudine Gay Fiercely Condemns Hamas, Rejects Calls to Punish Students for Israel Statement.” I’ll show you Harvard President Claudine Gay, I am not making that name up, and you will understand everything you need to know about this story. Ready? Here:

image 7.png

I can’t make this stuff up. Harvard is paying this woman, if it is a woman, millions to run the school. Run it into the ground, one supposes.

The articles describing Gay often include odd liberal dog-whistles. For example, they describe her marriage and say she is “co-parenting a boy.” What does ‘co-parenting a boy’ mean? Are they trying to say it’s not her son? Is it to suggest ‘she’ is a trans woman?

Anyway, the current fracas began after 37 Harvard student groups anonymously signed an open letter condemning Israel and essentially congratulating Hamas for fighting back against its evil oppressors. Their timing was horrible to say the least, and it ignited a firestorm of criticism that Harvard’s woke president has been trying her darnedest to extinguish by smothering it in the entire woke buzzword dictionary.

After the anti-Israel letter went viral, major donors demanded that Harvard identify the students who signed the letter. Former presidents and high-profile alumni denounced the letter. An LCD panel truck drove around Cambridge yesterday displaying the names and photos of alleged student signers of the letter.

Meanwhile, the brave students who anonymously signed the letter have turned chicken in the face of potential cancellation. Well, they should know.

As the Crimson’s article reported, Gay — who is so unqualified to run Harvard that it insults unqualified people — is on her fourth try in four days to condemn Hamas in sufficiently strong terms to placate offended stakeholders. When at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Gay steadfastly refuses to disclose any student names though, patriotically but ironically calling for — I promise I am not making this up — everyone to appreciate the Founding Fathers’ values of freedom of speech and free expression.

Based solely on the photo, above, I probably don’t need to tell you that Gay’s entire academically-uninspiring career is 100% pure racial grievance politics, and the words “freedom of speech” are painfully difficult for her to pronounce since she’s never uttered them before. It’s currently coming out more like “fweedern of swiss,” but she’ll get the hang of it if she keeps trying. Try, try again.

🚀 The Israeli war has not progressed much since yesterday. The biggest news yesterday was Israel issued its largest evacuation notice yet, affecting around a million Palestinians in north Gaza, which suggests an imminent ground action.

The United Nations immediately demanded that Israel revoke the evacuation notice, arguing a mass relocation “would be calamitous.”

Israel’s opponents are scoffing just where are the Palestinians supposed to go?, since it appears nobody wants them. At least, none of the otherwise outraged Muslim countries in the area have so far offered to shelter any Palestinian refugees.

If you like, contrast that fact with Western Europe’s open door policy for Ukrainian refugees when that war began. So.

In 2021, Omeish opposed a school board resolution calling for a moment of silence marking the twentieth anniversary of 9/11.

While 9/11 was “jarring” and a “historic turning point in our nation’s history,” she said, the resolution failed to address “state-sponsored traumas” to Muslims.

She said she trusted that the Fairfax County Public School’s (FCPS) “equity team will follow up with Dr. Amaarah Decuir and other state advisors whose expertise enlightens us on this topic. I hope we can include these components in our broader anti-racist, anti-bias work.”

Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer quits Harvard board, blasts university’s president over Hamas student letter

Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer and his wife are resigning their posts on the executive board of Harvard’s Kennedy School in protest of school President Claudine Gay’s belated lukewarm response to the student letter blaming Israel for the massacre committed by Hamas terrorists on Saturday.

Ofer, the shipping and chemicals magnate whose net worth was valued by Forbes at $14 billion as of Thursday, said that he and his wife were quitting the board, according to the Hebrew-language news site TheMarker.

Ofer and his wife, Batia, who is also a member of the executive board, said they resigned “in protest of the shocking and insensitive response by the president of the university, who did not condemn the letter by student organizations who blamed Israel for the massacres.”

Last time I checked Harvard was still in MA. Why does it need foreign billionaires on its board to begin with, especially one that (according to his wikipedia) didn't go to Harvard?

George Soros wrote op-ed bashing US, Israel for not working with Hamas

Left-wing megadonor and billionaire George Soros blasted the U.S. and Israel for not recognizing terror group Hamas as a legitimate government in an op-ed 16 years ago.

The New York Post recounted Friday how in a 2007 Financial Times op-ed, the wealthy progressive blasted the U.S. government for supporting Israel’s decision not to work with Hamas after it won an election to govern Gaza the previous year.

Last weekend, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and murdered over 1,200 people, including 27 Americans. They also kidnapped approximately 150 people.
