But I don't hide things from my kids... I still remember the first day my son came home from middle school and said, "Mom, you do know I ride the bus with high school kids now... you should hear the way they talk." I told him I was sure he would hear and see alot and we have since had one on one discussions about the 7th grader caught having sex and the high schooler who announced she was prego, etc...." I don't think what I am doing is "sheltering" my kids. I see that I am living by example, and that when my kids are on their own, they will fully understand where I stand on things. They will ultimately make whatever decision they deem fit at the time, but they will fully understand whether or not to expect me to be disappointed should they chose differently. They also already know that we are all responsible for the actions that come from our decisions, so in the least, should they reap negative consequences, they won't be blaming others...:shrug:Kain99 said:
