I mean, sacrificing a marriage becasuse of ones religion is bad enough, but now we talking about one's own life.. STUPIDITY AT ITS GREATEST!!

I switched my viewing from 40 posts per page to 20 and no longer have the loading problem.
But see, you are an atheist. You would feel this way if we were talking about Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists......
And remember that Scientology is not an actual bible based religion, but rather a belief system. They don't believe in God.

Read up on what it means to "believe" and what "faith" means.
This woman believed in her chosen religion and had a deep faith in that belief.
It is not stupid, or brainwashing, etc.
It is HER belief and her faith, not yours.
When you loose everything, and I mean everything, many times all you have left is "faith".
Families burned out of homes, families whose kids are killed and hurt in accidents, POWs, etc...left alone in the darkenss, their only hope was their faith...
Why do we pray for these people here when asked?
When a sad or horrific story is posted, and a forum member asks for prayers...why do we respond?
Because we have faith in some higher power, ie God and believe our prayer will be heard and will help the situation.
Give this women a break and respect her belief and her faith.
She would respect you and your beliefs....
And educate yourselves about the many different religions.
Dont argue about it, learn and respect the differences of others.
Even the snake handlers...I think they are as stupid as they come, but I respect their right to worship God in their own way.
