Psaki Goes Off On Anti-Vaccine Mandate Protest In DC, Claims It Was ‘Dangerous’

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that anti-vaccine mandate protests in Washington, D.C., were “dangerous” and stood “in the way against a coordinated effort to save more American lives.”

Over 30,000 people took to the streets of the nation’s capital Sunday for the “Defeat the Mandates: An American Homecoming” march to protest “draconian COVID-19 requirements.” Protesters called for an end to vaccine mandates.

“Just yesterday in D.C., not far from here actually, there was an anti-mask, anti-lockdown rally where some of the rhetoric around that was talking about Nuremberg style trials to holding Anthony Fauci to account, to going after the media for spreading lies, things like that,” the reporter said. “I was wondering how the administration is going to respond to what appears to be a growing intensity and potential violence in the anti-vax movement?”

Psaki Dodges When Asked About Johns Hopkins Lockdown Study

“Lockdowns during the first wave of COVID in the spring of 2020, found that it only reduced COVID mortality by 0.2 percent in the U.S. and Europe, and suggested that they have little to no public health benefit, but severe consequences for the economy — and it suggests that lockdowns shouldn’t be a part of a future pandemic response,” the reporter said before following up with a question: “Is that the shared view of the administration looking in the rearview mirror?”

Psaki responded, first refusing to comment on the “specifics” of this study — pointing to “our health and medical experts” for that. She then stated that the president isn’t “pushing lockdowns.”

“…we’ve not been pro-lockdown. That has not been his agenda,” Psaki said. “Most of the lockdowns actually happened under the previous president.”

The press secretary continued, issuing talking points regarding the number of Americans vaccinated and the percentage of schools open.

The reporter followed up, asking: “So, you guys do believe then that the lockdowns were more harmful than helpful?”

Psaki dodged, pointing once again to “our scientific experts,” and claiming that the president doesn’t favor lockdowns.

Psaki Still Blaming Meat Companies For Skyrocketing Grocery Bills

Psaki repeated the same claims on Tuesday afternoon.

“Just four large conglomerates control the majority of the market for beef, pork, and poultry products, and the data show … that there have been increases in meat prices while the companies have generated recent record profits,” Psaki said in response to a reporter during her press briefing.

“If you look at historical precedent here, 50 years ago ranchers got over $0.60 for every dollar a family spent on beef. Today, they get about $0.39,” she added. “50 years ago, hog farmers got $0.40 to $0.60 for each dollar they spent. Today, it’s about $0.19, and the big companies are still making major profits.”

“It certainly shouldn’t work that way,” Psaki concluded. “As the President said many times, capitalism without competition isn’t capitalism, it’s exploitation. And we have continued concern about the lack of competition in these industries.”

Who's fault is it that there are only 4 large meat conglomerates and one of those is the Chinese?

So Biden doesn't favor lockdown, but he favors firing everyone who doesn't get a useless shot.
I have to wonder just how stupid this woman and the rest of those around Biden really think the american public is.

He got into the White House so that tells me a lot.

They believe they are doing everything right. Then when things go bad it someone else's fault not the policies they created.
