"This is a political wedge issue," Psaki continued, claiming it was "an attempt to win a culture war, and they're doing that in a way that is harsh and cruel to a community of kids, especially," before becoming a tearful wreck and doubling down on her lamenting that "it's horrible, but, you know, it's like kids, who are bullied and just all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them and hurt their lives and hurt their families and you look at some of these laws in these states and they're just going after parents who are in loving relationships, who have kids. It's completely outrageous, um, but it is a wedge issue."
Psaki did aptly point out that "this is an issue that makes me completely crazy."

'How does that jibe with his desire to be the bipartisan guy,' Psaki was asked at Monday's press briefing.
'Well, the President's view is you can do both,' she responded. 'He believes that there is work we can continue to do together where we're actively advocating for, he was out traveling in just last Friday on the bipartisan Innovation Act,' she said – pointing to an event planned for Wednesday in Illinois where Biden will push the bipartisan bill.
'We believe that needs to move forward, it should move forward. And that can be can build on the nearly 80 bills that we signed into law last year that are bipartisan,' she continued.
'But he's also not going to stand by and not call out what he sees as ultra MAGA behavior, ultra MAGA policies that are out of the mainstream of the country and are not in the interest of the American people,' she said.
Biden went on his MAGA tear from the White House Wednesday, the day after Trump's preferred candidate, J.D. Vance, prevailed in the Ohio primary for the GOP Senate nomination. It was just the latest illustration of the grip Trump holds over the party.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said it was a “top priority” on Wednesday. But then, when she was asked who was the point person on the issue at the White House, Jean-Pierre was unable to say. Some priority. They hadn’t even said anything about it until the last couple of days.
If Biden isn’t lying and he has been working on it for months, with all this failure as a result, in some ways that’s even worse. That doesn’t say a lot for his ability to do anything about it.
But, Psaki refused to say if Biden could have done more.

But back to Abbott. It’s true that the facility has been closed since the contamination scare. What’s also true is that the factory has been deemed clear of contaminants, but that the FDA refuses to certify it for reopening. Clearly, the government wants it closed. Perhaps that’s to have a scapegoat. After all, on her last official day as press secretary, Psaki blamed the entire shortage (which goes back to last July) on the Abbott formula recall and plant closing:

Psaki’s go-to defense of the establishment of the board under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is a continuation “of disinformation-related work that began under the prior administration.” One of the key bodies countering disinformation founded under former President Donald Trump, the Countering Foreign Influence Task Force (CFITF), was renamed by the Biden administration when he came into office the Mis-, Dis-, and Malinformation (MDM) and was modified to focus on domestic rather than foreign threats, two Trump DHS officials told the Daily Caller.
“The CFITF was focused on foreign influence – particularly as it related to elections. The current MDM description from DHS takes the word ‘foreign’ out of the title. It’s clear that MDM, as it’s currently defined, is also looking at domestic communication,” Chad Wolf, former acting secretary of the DHS, told the Daily Caller.
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), was created in 2018 under Trump to counter cybersecurity threats. In May of 2018, “a Countering Foreign Influence Task Force (CFITF) was established within CISA’s predecessor agency,” according to CISA’s website, and was tasked with “helping the American people understand the risks from” MDM.
CFITF was modified by the Biden administration in 2021 to officially change its name to MDM, and its “mission evolved to reflect the changing information environment,” according to its website.
The Biden-era DHS, its assistant press secretary and the CFITF did not respond to several requests from the Daily Caller to say why the name change was necessary, and what the new “mission” of the MDM is.
The MDM is now “charged with building national resilience to MDM and foreign influence activities,” the website reads. It also mentions that MDM campaigns are waged by both “foreign and domestic threat actors.”

She truly is a horrible person. How someone could be so soulless on a daily basis, so blatantly fraudulent and still live with themselves is a mystery to me. Then again, I’m not a Democrat; I don’t subscribe to a political philosophy responsible for more than 100 million dead in the last century. The Democratic Strategy Institute, a shameless group of grifters, sent out an email from the name “YES! YES! YES!” with the subject line, “Jen Psaki goes to MSNBC! [WOW WOW WOW].” They write like children.

Joe Biden is one of the least popular Presidents we’ve ever had, especially this early in his administration. These clowns think people love him.

But if Biden wants to go there, as he looked at his own Democrats and their history of election denial that is at least two decades long? Where was his condemnation of that? Should we talk about all the questioning of the 2016 election, the false Russia collusion hoax, aided directly by the Clinton team? Should we talk about all the Democratic election deniers for 2016, including Joe Biden himself? Where is the condemnation of all of that and how much that hurt the country? Where’s the condemnation of all the violence against Trump supporters and GOP officials because of leftist rhetoric? Have they forgotten the attack on Rand Paul in 2020 by protesters? How about the rioting during Trump’s inauguration in 2017 and the rioting outside the White House in 2020? Democrats laughed that the Secret Service had to rush Trump to a bunker because they were concerned about his safety. Where was the condemnation of that “threat to democracy”?
