Is that the ONLY verse in there? If you knew how to interpret the Bible you'd see the truth. And, that IS Christian. Jesus is God incarnate (in the flesh), He claimed to be the great "I AM" (John 8 v 58) and said that He'd raise Himself up from the dead after 3 days in the grave AND HE DID. Man can't raise himself from the dead. Bustem, I hope you didn't pay for your seminary training. I could give you hundreds of verses showing the Deity of Christ but you wouldn't read nor believe them.
This is what I meant when I said: if you aren't saved and don't know the Bible, you should listen, ask questions and not make assertions about a book that you don't understand. Not being mean here folks, just truthful.

The Bible clearly states that Jesus and the Father are one.

That part doesn't, but what about the rest of the truth? Jesus had 2 natures just as we do, except that His spiritual nature is God while ours is just a spiritual entity. Jesus can be referred to as BOTH 100% God and 100% man. So, yes, He was the Son of God (in the human sense) and the "I am" (a title reserved for God alone) in the Spiritual sense. Why do people want to make Him out to be any less? Isaiah 9 v 6 says: "He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, the everlasting Father....". It can't be any clearer. This is why a Mormon is not a "Christian", because they do not believe in the Christian God or the real Jesus.

Nah. Been there. Done that. The missionaries that used to come to my door couldn't refute what I showed them in the Bible with their stuff from the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price, so they stopped coming.

The people that Christ came to see on this continent (North and South America), that are also descendants of Adam and Eve..

the Pearl was more of a reference rarely used and the D7C is mostly concerned with modern day organization and rituals of the Church. Emphasis was always on the New Testament.

Oh? What book do those rely on? Rhetorical. None. We didn't have any other book at the Lutheran church I went to, nor the Methodist, nor the Baptist, nor the Pentecostal.
