You are effing clueless! :lmao:

Thanks. You know every story has 2 sides...obviously you've never been on the other side of this one. You've never been in the position of trying to figure out how to pay bills because the child support is way too high to afford..with other bills, etc. Look at Azzy's example on the child support calculator.

 There's no point in trying to argue this...people have different opinions...

But Doug shouldn't be the ONLY one paying for the children's care, education, and so forth. I understand that they are expenses that need to be addressed, but those expenses shouldn't fall directly on Dougster's shoulders - the expenses should be shared by both the mom and dad. So, if Doug is supporting his kids at $1400 per month, and the ex is also supporting them at the same amount, that it takes $2800 to care for these two kids? That seems like a ridiculously high dollar figure to me.

:yeahthat:

The cost to raise her children would be the same if she were married and working, too.

If the non-custodial has their child(ren) every other weekend, then they should be paying a significant amount more.
I don't get it I guess. I get $253 a month for CS which is NOTHING and I never actually get it. I'm just having a hard time seeing $700 per child. I could see if both were in daycare. I know it costs me more than $250 a month for my daughter but nowhere near $700, especially considering shes school aged.

Thats not what I'm saying. I'm saying that he is paying just about ALL of what you are saying you pay. He shouldnt have to pay ALL of it, she should be responsible for part of it as well.
Yes, she should. I'm just not sure people on here really realize how much it costs to care for 2 children. I know that it may take up a good percentage of his earnings but that is what it costs to raise children. It's kinda one of those tough doo doo situations. He created 2 kids. That's life.

Yeah, well she created them too. Both parents are responsible. I think sometimes people forget that. Each situation is different...

....................he's been forced to deny himself a life, too. That's not right.

The state of Maryland doesn't give a damn what kind of life he will have until those kids are eighteen years of age.

Hail to the breadwinnner of the family in the state of MD!:sarcasm:

Yes, you really need to. You don't fit into the same category. You are not a single working mom.
If I was, I would expect $1400 from EACH of my ex's

Yes I do...my boyfriend and I live together, along with his 2 children. I know what it costs to raise the kids. :huggy: Thanks for asking though.

As I said before, there's no use in arguing about this, because all situations are different.
