Nah. I'm good in that department. I think she should atleast have us create a dating application. The first question on it needs to ask if he has children and if so, how many.
not how many, how OLD are they .......

Gotcha. Please, like I'm going to freaking date some guy with a little kid!
Budding romance means that we see each other frequently, talk a good bit, and there is a clear interest. Guys I date, I usually know a good deal about them before it gets that far.

Sorry, I read the "budding romance" part and assumed that you've been out on dates with him.
It is with regret that I put the brakes on a budding romance
 That's how I read it.
Now we know it was just her head sprouting.
He's probably sitting there reading this laughing and saying "I might have been interested 20 years ago, but I am not wasting my mid-life crisis on someone my own age."
We need a "Help I'm crazy" forum.

That's the age where they run off with their secretaries; buy a sports car; rub Propecia into their balding noggins; start wearing skinny jeans. It's a cliche for a reason.
I feel good now.
I have no intention of running off with anyone
Im not a big fan of sports cars, they sit too low, I like trucks and the higher end luxery cars like, Lincolns, and Caddies.
I cant wait to go bald so I dont have to worry about combing my hair.
I would never wear jeans, skinny or otherwise.
Guess Im not crazy yet.
I think the wife and kid *were* his mid-life crisis.
I heard a GUY say that every woman who gets with a man that already has children, wants to have a child of their own with him to set their place in his life. REALLY? Maybe a few women have that notion that to have his baby means he'll stay around, but if that was the case, what abut the mother(s) of his other children? The logic just doesn't make sense.

I thought you had already progressed to the skinny jeans? This isn't you?

What I am saying is that women and men, fight those same biological impulses and drives whether we think about them or not.
The biological logic makes sense. I mean, far be it for me to argue whether or not women actually think "Gee, if I get him to knock me up, he'll stay around'. What I am saying is that women and men, fight those same biological impulses and drives whether we think about them or not.
