Jimmypat (JPC) was $27,000 behind and spent months in jail, not years. You can't believe anything he tells you.

Just how long does it take to get that far behind? I would imagine the kid did quite a bit growing up during that time.

He missed out on so much that you cannot put a price on that and it is so sad
Aw c'mon, without having to tend to the burden of his son, JPC was able to travel to many different states, see many things he had previously only heard about and party all the time. :larry:

James, Jr. is 29, I believe.

:eyebrow: You mean to tell me, that JPC can travel all around and not find a job that would allow him to pay child support and still live with all his needs met?

Yep. (The whole page surrounding that is here.)

Isn't it great that he had so much fun doing all that stuff alone? Most parents would want to be with their kids, even if they are disgusted with the ex. But some folks just want to live for themselves.

Kinda puts his bid as a "candidate working for the people" in a new perspective, I shall say.

:poorbaby: Don't babble too much or you'll begin to sound like...

You know, I have considered the possibility that JPC is a mere "forum character" created by someone fooling around. But to do that would require a tremendous devotion, and to do it this long would probably drive anyone nuts. He is listed as a real candidate - in the loosest sense, so he is sad but true.

LOL... :killingme I think I have calmed down. BUT if I start up again kick me in the rear.... It just does not make any sense. How can someone go so against everything that sounds normal to everyone else? NOW
I understand some of the posts in here a lot better. :huggy:

Rarely have I resorted to calling another forumite names in genuine anger. But for JPC, sometimes it seems the only thing left to say.

I have stopped counting how many times Ken has 'challenged' him. :lmao: If duels were still allowed JPC's head would have been mounted on Ken's wall long ago.

It would have had to have been a while since I think the child support was in the low 200's. Even if it were only 200 per month that would be over 11 years without paying anything on it. If I did that right.

When you lose the election (and you WILL LOSE) what do you plan to do to with your life?

Will you find some sort of work since you're so inclined to want to help others? Or will the crusade be over and you'll just fade into oblivion?

JPC, please humor me and answer a hypothetical question for me......

I would assume that you are single. Let's say you meet a younger woman with two small kids and fall madly in love, and get remarried. New wife has little to no income, maybe even lives on disability. The two new step-children's natural father is traveling around the country running his very wealthy business, and does not see his children that much, but earns a six figure income. Do you ask for child support or not, or do you financially support these children?

:larry: I have thought about this and it is not humor to me. I am considering getting married again (after the election) and any woman that has children and a missing father then I will not marry her and if I know ahead of time then I will not even date such a woman. She already has a husband and those children need their real father and there is always a chance their family might get back together so I will not put myself in the middle of such a broken relationship. I do know others jump at such things but I feel certain that if I do it then God will strike me down being that I do know better then to do such a thing.

I still think you are dodging the questions........okay, here is another scenerio....for some unknown reason, you are given custody of a grandchild because the natural parents are not interested in raising a child. Both parents work, but do not see the child that you have custody of. Do you then ask for child support?

On another note, good luck finding a g/f that was never divorced with no children...... :yay: It is a shame your choices are limited because of your prejudiced view on things.

I am so very blessed
My honey already had children, and they are all wonderful young adults. My hat goes off to their mom and dad for raising such good and respectful kids. They have added tremendously to my life, and I am grateful to be around them.

Does their dad pay child support? You betcha. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the fact that this man takes care of his children, and ensures that they have a good life and are well provided for. That is what a good father does.
