I just spoke to the oncologist today. The tumor has grown in the past week. We are going to do a weeks worth of antibotics and prednosone along with the palladia and see how the next week goes. Luck I can bring him to work with me to he next week and we have a quiet weekend this week.

Guess well see how it goes. All I can do is hope and pray.

I feel blessed that we've had him for longer than they expected. Taking it one day at a time right now. This morning there is another lymph node that is rearing it's ugly cancerous head. This one is a little further down his neck.

I hate to hear this. :bawl: What about another opinion...another treatment? Have you to talked to Dr. Rusk at Friendship Animal Hospital? I know they have a study going on...not Palladia...might be worth a shot.

Friendship Hospital for Animals: this AAHA-accredited vet clinic provides pet health care plus 24-hour emergency services to cats and dogs in Washington DC, Maryland and northern Virginia. Located in the Tenleytown neighborhood, this veterinary hospi

I don't know Indy and I love him.

Cat, I spoke to Cindy Gonzelas the study coordinator at Friendship several times. We were in a waiting game between their study and the Palladia study. Palladia came first so we had to take it we couldn't wait any longer. Since he got in the Palladia he can't get in the Friendship study. It would have been nice I only work a few miles from there. My Thursday's now are a 180 mile trek but I'd do double that for more time with my boy. btw Indy loves you and Biscuit too ;0 Also, keep my posted on tomorrow.

Just spoke to the oncologist. Not bad or good?? The tumor went down a SMALL amount. She said we may be at the end of the effectiveness of the Palladia. We are going to medicate for another week and cut the prednisone in half and see how things are progressing. I'm not sure how I feel but blessed for each day that we have him.

Thanks to EVERYONE for thinking about and praying for us.

:huggy: I've been thinking about you today and hoping for a good report.

I'll be in touch after tomorrow. I'm not having a good day. I'm anxious and tears are just below the surface. I guess because Biscuit seems okay, I've been able to put it out of my mind but with tomorrow looming, his illness is becoming more of a reality.

Cat, I did forgot to tell you not to freak tomorrow. If they need to do any tests or exams they will take Biscuit in the back and you won't be able to go with him. Our first visit was about 3 hours. We'll be thinking about you guys.
