Indy's white blood cell count was up so we got meds for a week. Smaller dosage and every 3rd day instead of every other but I'll take what I can get. He's snoozing in my office waiting to go home now. I need to learn his positive attitude!!
Great news! Prayers are continuing for him.Wishing Indy boy all the best!

We could all take lessons from him...and his great attitude! So far he's holding his own. By the time I got the meds into him Monday night another lymph node had started swelling in his neck. As of yesterday that lymph node has gone back down and his facial tumor doesn't look quite as "angry". This boy keeps amazing me. He's so happy and content and he takes all of his meds like a big boy.

Removal of the tumor and the lymph node. He's having it done in Bowie.catt what kind of surgery is biscuit having?
Dr. Stankard is the surgeon. I absolutely love her. She's at Dogs&Cats Veterinary Referral which is where Biscuit's cardiologist is located. His wife, Dr. Arrington, specializes in cancer treatement. EVERYONE at this hospital is very loving and caring toward the animals and they have very good people skills as well. We've been going there for almost 5 years and I feel very comfortable with them treating Biscuit.Catt, who in Bowie is doing the surgery?
Well, Biscuit is home. He's really worn out and on good pain meds..tramadol. He's sound asleep. He can't do much of anything for the next two weeks until the sutures are removed.
Catt - Best wishes on Biscuit's recovery, and Independence, hope Indy is doing well too!Well, Biscuit is home. He's really worn out and on good pain meds..tramadol. He's sound asleep. He can't do much of anything for the next two weeks until the sutures are removed.
