He isnt buying the car. He was going to put it on his credit since i dont have any i was going to make all the payments. But i have able to get financed on my own didnt think i could . He wanted to get a car that had 120 ,000 miles on it already. But i drive more miles on the way to work.

We have all our bills spilt 50/50 and since i will be the primary driver why shouldn't I get something that I like since he got the cruze (something he likes). And the type of person he is its his way or the highway. plus he is much much older then me so the banks take that into consideration and he makes more than me.

since your looking for ways to manipulate your soon to be husband, if the house was given to you by the inlaws as a "gift" and both of your names are supposedly on this, why not take out a home equity loan, and buy yourself a mercedes or jaquar. instead of whining about financing a car w/ 120K miles on it.
