 That's exactly what I told Lugnut :killingme

As soon as I read Bob's comment I just KNEW my name would be dragged into this! :lmao:

Hey Floyd, I'm 6'2" 220Lbs and ride a Yamaha YZF600R. You're welcome to sit on it and see how it fits. I like it but I do get a lot of "Hmm, that bike looked normal sized before you got on it" type comments. To them I say

At 90HP or so it has MORE than enough "Oomph" for a beginner. It handles great (My chicken strips are down to an 1/8" or so), is pretty comfortable on longer hauls, and has OUSTANDING brakes by all accounts.

Hiyabusa's are very impressive but for 10K its no where near a starter bike for me.
A friend of mine had one that we made some changes on. We took out his back tail light and drilled it out for a small camera, put a monitor up on the handle bars so he could watch behind him while he was driving.

Have you "Reflectorized" the red stripe on your topcase yet??
 there is is no red strip on the topcase.
I've got black reflector tape on the ends of the side cases. Neat stuff, looks like black tape till the light hits it, then it clowes silver. Got a bunch left over if anybody wants some.

On your topcase.. that BIG red reflector looking thing on the back... it isn't.. You actually have to go buy reflective tape to put underneath it to make it a reflector.

At 6'1" I think the 600 size would be awful small.. Your frame will make it look like a clown bike..
I'm guessing my Rebel isn't going to work for him. Darn the luck :lmao:

Some guys just put tin foil in there, but I haven't done anything with it yet. There is also a kit from GIVI to wire the top row of round red (non) reflectors as brake lights.

When you pull off the red plastic there is a piece of white paper in there.. use that as a template for Scotchlite Reflective Tape.. White preferably.. Works like a charm IF I can find the Scotchlite tape to do mine with.

My box has two rectangular sections within the Red band that fit the brake light kit.. I'd like to adapt two LED brake lights instead though.. maybe twelve LEDs per rectangle..

SOLAS tape.

You want reflective index....go buy some SOLAS tape at one of your local boating outlets. This is the stuff they put on the personal flotation devices so they can find you adrift in the high seas in the dead of night. That stuff will light up quite nicely!
