New Businesses Coming to Southern Maryland

Doesn't have to be good, just being a national chain will draw in droves of people who will proclaim it the best they've ever eaten. Having it shows that SoMD has "made it" and is just like back home in Montgomery, Howard or wherever.

On a personal note, being like "back home" for me would mean rattlesnakes and a pumping jack in the back yard (free gas as long as the well produces).
WV?

My middle child loves the place - even insisting we all go to one when we went out of town as a family.

I was unimpressed - seemed like - Mexican Subway - where you go in, point to the stuff you want and they slop it together.
What were you expecting, fine dining? It's not a substitute for a sit down meal experience, it's fast food and competes with fast food. Mexican Subway is tasty, though in my opinion a bit overpriced.

I had no idea it was fast food. The one there down by Hickory Hills is the only one I’d ever seen before and I’ve never been inside. I thought it was a sit down place.

It’s still better than some of the sit down Mexican restaurants. Plus they make a very good guacamole.

NWPA, also known now as the Pennsylvania Wilds where there are more cows than people. And trees. And more trees. When you get tired of trees you'll get to see more trees. I went from being a hillbilly to a marshbilly forty years ago.
My Family came from Center County PA trees, trees, trees mountains and beauty and best of all very little people

Remember when Calvert County denied Pizza Hut from coming into the county a while back, for the sole reason the county didn't want a bright red roofed building anywhere? It just didn't go with the color scheme of the county, or some such made up reason? And now, the county itself has bright red roofed buildings at CMM? Yeah, Hypocrites.

I hope we get one in Charlotte Hall. I like their subs.
Ive eaten at one only once over King George, huge subs and looks really good in the Danny DeVito commericails, but I dont think we may get one in Charlotte Hall. I have a family member who has a family member who works for J/M's at their corporate offices here in the DMV. She can get access to every plan for any type shopping center or a strip of stores in the DMV. Her job is to look and see what is going where and if that area would be good for JerseyMikes. She has seen where in our future in CH a major chain of a burger plave may be coming, and with what we already have here and what future the holds for the small area of CH, (Subway, WaWa, Royal Farms and Sheetz), I dont think it will be coming to town..

Gotta say, when I saw the new Chik-Fil-A going in the old farmer's market, it occurred to me that Charlotte Hall has more fast food places in a small area than anyplace I've ever seen.
