Back in the day (way back when) there were the Rex in Leonardtown, the Park and Plaza in LP, and the drive-in on 235.
I saw Star Wars at the Rex.

Drove by there last night, it looks very lonely sitting out there on that big lot..lol..but it was crowded.

Won't be lonely once the Royal Farms gets built next to it.

I've never eaten at a Chipotle...is it really that good?

So what happens to all that money collected for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs from sales at the exchange? From the emails I get from NEX encouraging me to shop there, extolling the virtues of monies raised to support MWR, you'd think everything on base associated with MWR would be in tip-top shape.

They put new ones in some time back. I wanna say a few years, but really that's a range between 5 and 15 for me these days

Doesn't have to be good, just being a national chain will draw in droves of people who will proclaim it the best they've ever eaten. Having it shows that SoMD has "made it" and is just like back home in Montgomery, Howard or wherever.
On a personal note, being like "back home" for me would mean rattlesnakes and a pumping jack in the back yard (free gas as long as the well produces).
