Charlotte Hall has more fast food places in a small area than anyplace I've ever seen.
Run the interstates in America. Almost every exit has 4-6 fast food place, gasoline stations & hotels in the first .4 miles. The closer you are to a big city, the more you see. But even in BF nowhere, there are a few ff places where the only customers are travelers because the local population is almost non existent.

JM's one step above subway, not worth my time nor money either.
I was fairly recently supporting a sea trials program out in San Diego and the project leader brought a cooler full of Jersey Mike subs for everyone, every day. I was immediately surprised by how much better their sammiches were than what we'd get at local Subway (L'town one). One data point, I know....

CH is a lot like that. They have - McD, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Arby's, Popeye's, Dairy Queen, Domino's, Dunkin and Subway - and now Chik-Fil-A. To say nothing of the pizza places, like Papa John's, Ledo's and the Pizza Hotline - and the different restaurants.

When I saw what was being built, I blanked on Chik-Fil-A and wondered - geez, what fast food place DON'T they have?

All I look for is a Waffle House.

Traveling for my job as much as I have, WH is the one constant I can count on. Fast, filling, cheap and always exactly the same everywhere.
I kinda feel the same about Denny's, but their home fries suck. Always taste weird.

LightRoasted

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

I always order their grits. Lots of folks treat them like cereal, but I like them with butter, salt, and pepper. 😋

In a similar vein, bring back the magazine True Grit. So young boys can read about becoming and acting as good young men.
