People believes

For those that believe in God (Yahweh), God is in control of these things. He doesn't view death the way we do. A child dying on this earth is painful for us but for God life does not end there. I know you want to ask "why does God make us go through all this pain?" If you believed God is life, not death, then (even though you will miss that child dearly) you know that child is in better hands.

But, this is obviously something you have to believe.

I do believe he is not suffering anymore.

Well, I am very sorry to hear about this boy. I wish things like this didn't happen and even as a believer I find myself asking God why. But there is always something that reminds me that He's in control. I wish I could describe it.

I have never claimed to know it all about god. I know that things just happen. It is really sad that a child lost his life. It is sad that a mother has to bury her child on Wednesday. She didn't do anything to deserve this. I will never believe in god! There is nothing anyone can say that can change my mind ever. I have my belief and you have yours.
I'm not saying you did know all about Him but you sure are quick to blame Him when things go wrong. I guess you're so wrapped up emotionally right now it might be better to let this be but to whom do you turn for comfort in these times? Human comfort is only temporary but God's peace is forever. Turn to Him, ask Him for guidance & comfort and watch what happens.

Well said. I hope redhot takes heed of it.

How can you say human comfort is temporary? I rather have a friend or a love one comfort me then sitting there saying "oh god please make the pain go away". But most of the time it just takes time for the pain to go away. Everyone has there own way of dealing with things. I can't blame something that is not real. All i was saying was how can people believe in something that creates such bad things.

whole lotta nothing!

Jesus taakkkkeeeee the wheeeeeeeell!
As good as that song is, quoting it in this context misses the whole point. The Lord helps those who help themselves. You have to seek the guidance, not the actions, of the Lord. Then, free will and all, YOU have to take actions.

God is the Judge. People make their own decisions about what they believe and how they live their lives. The judgment of God is based on their own choices. Those that choose not to believe God have condemned themselves in that they have not believed God.

As was my reply to you. Perhaps you misunderstood, which wouldn't be a shock to many.
I think he's trying to tell you that if he were God nobody would ever suffer as described. Of course, without bad, there would be nothing to compare good to, and we would lose out on all good by taking away all bad, but he doesn't get that. He just thinks God is unjust, unfair, unmerciful, etc., etc. Whatever it takes to get a rise out of people who actually have faith in something more substantial than dirt begets dirt.

Easy! It's like getting drunk to solve a problem. The problem is still there when you sober up. With God, He shows you the truth then helps you deal with your problem in light of that truth.
When my parents died, I was destroyed. I had to do both funerals and make all the arrangements myself. And I was grieving at the same time. I can honestly say that God not only helped me get through the services with minimal tears and He also lightened my grief so that I wasn't miserable for months after. Knowing that they ARE in Heaven and are not suffering makes life a joy to live today. Mistakenly thinking that someone is no longer suffering when they really are is short lived and temporary. That's why I said human comfort is temporary and God's comfort is true peace.
This is how I can believe in someone who "creates bad things". Dear heart, there is good and bad, always. How can I love a parent who spanks their kids with a belt buckle? How can I love people who raise "kids from hell"? How can I love someone who kills others? etc, etc. Knowing God is how.
Hope you're doing well. Please pm me anytime if you'd like someone to talk to about this.:flowers:
