I was one of the lucky 400 to get purchase my entry back when they were first made available in Feb or whenever that was. Feels like forever ago now. That race is on my birthday weekend too so I'm really hoping that I can make it into the show.
No, with all Pinks shows they sell 400 entries and you have to purchase them online. Somehow though, the financial genius that Royce Miller is, he found a way to make even more money off of Pinks and hold separate races to give out an additional (correct me if I'm wrong) 80 entries. The MIR website crashed when the entries went on sale as they had about 15000 simultaneous hits to purchase entries.
I was there vying for a spot, saw that "roundy round car" and was thinking to myself, what the hell is he doing over here?? Congrats to him.
I missed getting a golden ticket by .003 seconds.. Had fun though, lotta fast cars there.
Sorry you missed out. His car turned a few heads and definitely had people talking. When he first told me what he was going to do with the car I laughed. I asked ummmmm why. He said "cuz I can". He's also raced a snow mobile and a dune buggy there.
Tell my new lover congrats!!!
You can keep your current lover. I'm not sharing mine. He's way too wonderful.
...and last week you were all over me and professed your desire for my loin candy. :tease:
What's it dost to enter?Yeah, they have to do it this way or else you'd end up with thousands of cars competing for 16 spots. From the 480 entries they sold off, they will pick a group of 16 cars that run similar E.T.'s to run single elimination to determine the winner.
What's it dost to enter?
What's it dost to enter?
I believe the original entry was $65, but like I said yesterday, I barely remember because its been so long ago.
And sockgirl, are you sure that they're all filled? I thought there was going to be 2 of those second chance races.
Here are a few pics from last time Pinks All Out was in town
