Second Hope Adoptable Dogs!

Second Hope Rescue Pups from today Feb 22, 2009 at Pepper's Pet Pantry!

I didn't get any great ones of Nyla other than to show that she's NOT treat/toy agressive! You can take anything out of this girls mouth!!!!! And she is a Sweetie! The hands belong to Cattitude's son and he hadn't met her before today!

Next up I believe Is Morgan! Choco Lab that had a very interested family come back several times today!

Parker is next! KK said this little guy was so matted with knots that no other rescue would take him. They said he didn't like kids. I watched this little guy greet kids and adults into the shop with NO issues! He just wants to be someones lap dog!

I can't speak for the rescue. I can tell you he did great with all the dogs coming and going. He layed on the floor and was held! He was one calm dude. He was the greeter pup at the entrance for most of the day!

He's a nice dog. He didn't seem to mind the other dogs. We're getting in a year old Boxer female this week.

Nyla is a great dog. I sure wish Abbey would tolerate another female (well, and Ott would tolerate another dog). She's very friendly and sweet.

Yep, Tootsie was there. There were a few people interested in her. She's a bit timid but warms up and loves to be held.

No. That's why I had to ask.

It was a good day. My "little boy" is in love with Chief and Nyla. There were some really nice dogs there today.

I dropped off a application tonight to a family. We are going to meet tomorrow so they can meet Chief. They have a 1 yr old female pit. Should be a good match.


Nyla is a love. I hadn't seen her in a while. Looks like she got bigger and longer.

Chief is one beautiful animal!!!! Nyla was just a sweetheart!

I want cheif! : I hope he finds a great home. I really wish Molly could find a good family too, she is a beautiful dog.

I thought the ride home with Nyla and Morgan in the back seat of my car would be real fun !!!! They were so well behaved, Morgan slept the whole way home and Nyla shared my Roy Rogers and sat quietly..... Thanks for being at Peppers, your son is a very nice young man to talk with!

Chief is an awesome dog but he is going to need someone to continue to work with him (training) and he needs a fenced yard. His pictures don't do him justice..he is a massive dog. Not large but massive in structure for his size if that makes sense. His head is the size a of a lion.

Thanks..he has been helping me with rescue since he was about two years old. He was very good at flipping the puppies to show potential adopters where the was and where the "worms came out."

He is beautiful. The non-fenced yard is the teeny part that took me out of the running for any of KK's dogs. I had a girl that looked just like cheif, build and all, excpet her color was all fawn. She has been gone now for six years, but I swear she was the best dog ever. She was a rescue dog that was saved from people that breed and fought their pits and I swear she had the very best disposition and thought she was human. I loved her!
