Smoking crisis...

Man, you are REALLY invested in the smoking ban, aren't you? It must be extremely important to you that the ban be beneficial to businesses and they not lose money. Are you on the MD legislature?

Haha like I said, I could care less. I am more curious as to why Larry thinks it is specifically the smoking ban.

*lol*...

I don't feel strongly about it. I couldn't care less. I'm having a conversation about something.

So far there are four things that have been pointed out.

1) Smoking ban
2) High prices
3) Rain
4) Out of the blue slow nite

Perhaps....it was some combination of all four that caused the lull in the nite?

My question is for you is....why do you feel so strongly that the sole cause of the lack of patrons on the singular nite you went to the bar, even when the waitress told you you were incorrect, was the smoking ban?

...you need to go find some kid to project your issues on. Try Andy. He might bite. :lmao:

Nah...

Hey just be glad you had some private time and faster than usual bar service. :buddies:

...a bar is supposed to be full, is supposed to be loud, is supposed to be SMOKEY. :lmao:

Their service has always been decent enough except for the odd bad night which I am sure is due to the economy, the night of the week and the position of the moon. :lmao:

oh for gods sake lol.

it was just a thought.

relax a bit.

Indeed.

Ok, I concede this argument. It is clear now that Larry and Vrai know everything about bars and smoking and are 100% able to assess any other possibilities and know, without a fraction of the doubt, that they are correct on the smoking ban.

:yay:

...you oughta look into getting that fixed. Unless you enjoy it, of course. All I did was mention a single place I know about. So, how's that study going on the spending habits of the entire world? Wouldn't want you making any unfounded or random comments.

It's the only thing that is different from before.

If a bar is always packed, then it gets all new bartenders and business drops off to half, yet nothing else has changed, what would be your logical conclusion?

Indeed.

Ok, I concede this argument. It is clear now that Larry and Vrai know about THEIR bar and the smoking ban and are able to assess the situation better than I on a bar I am clueless about. Without a fraction of the doubt, they are correct on the smoking ban.

:yay:

:fixed:

 You have finally seen the light!

And then shot down any other assessment of your nite. Like I said, we all bow to you and Vrai on all matters of the smoking ban. Thou art the grand assessor of all bars and smoking facilities. It is impossible it was slow for any other reason...the smokers would have been out there even if they had to drive there 10 mpg trucks 30 miles through the rain.

I no longer question your assessment Larry.

And yes, generalizing the state of the rise of gas prices, food prices, and the like is unheard of.

Now you're engaging in hyperbole, which means you realize you're wrong.

I'm not worked up. But I do think it's interesting of you to project some form of emotion on me simply because I've stated facts as I know them that do not coincide with your worldview.

worldview?!

seriously?

I just said maybe it was because it was going to rain.

I've never even been to this place.

It was just a suggestion.

That people stopped going to the bar?
