Smoking crisis...

...you made all of this up KNOWING how busy that place is/used to be every night of the week??? :lmao:

Just like any restaurant there are plenty of nites where the bar is empty and people are just eating in the restaurant.

Now then...I really don't understand why smoking was banned in there. IIRC the bar was on the left when you walked in...with a fully closed door that opened into the entranceway?

The ONLY reason I noticed, the only reason I even commented was because it was a dramatic, noticeable difference! :lmao:

Up Route 15 on Sundays Lane (which is right across from Walkersville). Gov. Thomas Johnson High school. And you?

How do...

I don't know .... it was years ago.

look, I don't care about smoking one way or another.

all I was saying is that maybe it was slow because of a rainy forcast.

you are trying to infer things from my comments that simply aren't there.

...you KNOW what I am trying to infer, huh? Have you done a study to analyze what I am trying to infer? Maybe I don't have enough money to infer anything? Ever think about that? Maybe the economy has got me in a non inferring mood these days? Maybe I don't like making inferences with a forecast like today? Are you sure I am inferring or is that just an observation? Well? And how can I take you inferences at face value? Maybe it's something else? Indigestion perhaps?

:lmao:

...I grew up in Laurel. I waited until Gwydion left before I felt it was safe enough to move there. :lmao:

I know you're trying to gather things that I haven't mentioned because aside from the weather, I haven't said word one about anything else.

Trail is near downtown (part of it is, but I lived above 7th, so I wasn't quite there)

also, I graduated in 97.

I used to work at the Taco Bell on 7th (before it was a pizza hut/taco bell).

thats funny stuff

...it's because smokers, who used to go to BARS have decided to just stay home? Half the people who were at the bar kept going out to smoke. Imagine how annoying it would be if everytime you wanted a beer you had to go out in the parking lot and drink it and then come back inside.

Good point.

What's the likelihood that the claim that business being better is based on sales receipts and not the size of the crowd?

I know I'm more likely to go into Famous Dave's now the smoking ban is in place.

Oh, wait a sec...

Ya think she might be reciting the company line?

I asked :gossip: at our normal haunt and she said "It hasn't hurt at all really" yet I noticed the same thing. The place is practically deserted everytime I go.
Same here. Everytime I go the place is not as crowded as it used to be.

:smack: for Larry for bringing up brisket.
