Totals are still a huge guess. Baltimore weather stations say 1-3". My weather app says 5-8 plus another inch overnight. NWS is 3-7" with isolated 8-12". Every weather outlet has a different guess, and that's unusual only a day out. They're usually much closer in totals than this.

I just looked at my furnace and there's a beautiful junction box right there on the wall behind it. Sure looks like someone could shut off the breaker, disconnect the feed, and add a pigtail to plug into an extension cord.Gee. If there was only a way to have aux power.
