SMOW or Snow for 1/6?

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
JB is saying 4-8 inches for most of Southern Maryland. I personally am hoping for the maximum amount. I love snow days and am off until the 13th.
Totals are still a huge guess. Baltimore weather stations say 1-3". My weather app says 5-8 plus another inch overnight. NWS is 3-7" with isolated 8-12". Every weather outlet has a different guess, and that's unusual only a day out. They're usually much closer in totals than this.

Currently 26 degrees in Lusby but it feels like 19. I got up at 4 AM to stoke the fire in the woodstove. Fed the birds and squirrels a little while ago and it's definitely cold out there!
But I prefer winter over summer so I'm rather enjoying this and am excited for the smow :lmao:

Gee. If there was only a way to have aux power. From say.... a generator rated at 3280 watts? :eyebrow:
I just looked at my furnace and there's a beautiful junction box right there on the wall behind it. Sure looks like someone could shut off the breaker, disconnect the feed, and add a pigtail to plug into an extension cord. :yay:

Thank you! I just started a PM and realized it was going to turn into a book, so abandoned it. While in clean up mode to make more room, I came across a 220V extension cord someone had rigged up. Like a dummy, I tossed it thinking I wouldn't ever need it. If I end up staying in this house, next summer is going to include a lot of prep for weather events.

My youngest daughter is doing the "pay me to shop for you" thing and just left for a very busy order day. I teased her about being prepared to haul lots of "milk, white bread and terlit paper".
I don't how much they get paid, but it DOES sound like a good side gig.
