And just for info, the Weather Channel is calling this Winter Storm Blair.
They should really stop that and never should have started. The reason being is that most homeowner's insurance policies have a clause that changes your deductible from a set number to a percentage of the damage costs caused by named storms. As some of us have found out here with the tropical storms.

Just sneakin' around....
All prepped and ready, time to just sit back and wait for whatever we get. Made a quick run out to the Post Office and the transfer station. People are in nutso mode and the stores look like the day before Christmas.

Main highway was brined like usual, my road was sand/salted. Must have been something off with the spreader tho, dumped a buttload of mix a half inch deep but only in the middle of the road, nothing left and right. Appears the whole neighborhood was done like that.

Remember to flip up your windshield wipers before it starts smowing….

Beautiful drive from WMd back to SMC. Made it in 4-1/2 hours. Traffic was not bad at all. The heaviest traffic was on the short stretch of US-15 between Warrenton and Opal, and right at the I-95 interchange at Falmouth.
