Clearly, RR had PLENTY of time to stop. He was pissed at them. Probably annoyed for miles. I get that. The thing to do, especially with wife and kid in car, is bite your freaking tongue, slow down, take a deep breathe and let them on their way.
RR man is a towering example of idiot-hood.

The only reason I cant totally disagree with you Larry is because we dont know what happened before the video.
however, lets say something did happen, not involving an accident.
and that first biker we saw get tapped was acting in revenge instead of just going on as you suggested mr RR should have done.
Why is it acceptable that the biker act in this manner, but not the driver of the vehicle.
and, after tapping the bike, he did stop, but then the rabid animals came after him and his family, at that point, and the rest of the video, he did the right thing, even the part where he ran the bikes over when he took back off.

Yes, we do. We KNOW, based on YEARS of experience and life lived, that the bikers were being a holes and getting on RR mans nerves. We know he went from fantasies of running them all over and then backing up to losing his concentration for a second, or his temper, or both, and bumped into one.
Effectively sticking his hand in the hornets nest.
We KNOW what lead up to it. We would have 'wanted' to do the same thing. Because we're not as stupid as he was by virtue of having lived this long, we don't actually stick our hands in the hornets nests.

The idiot is the guy on the bike that stopped in front of the SUV
RR man is surrounded by buzzing bikes on all sides and it's reasonable to assume he couldn't see all of them at the same time.
If the bike in front of him picks the moment to stop when RR man is checking his mirrors or doing a head check he gets bumped.
It is not reasonable to excuse the behavior of the bikers base on being male.
The only thing RR man did wrong was to not back over another dozen bikes and then run down that ass beating on his car

You KNOW what I am saying. I am NOT excusing the bikers. I AM saying you don't freaking provoke a confrontation when your wife and kid are at risk.
And, my friend, you can 'tap' another car. When he 'tapped' the bike, he sent the rider flying. Simple physics.
And, thus, he sent every one of those riders into anger. Simple psychology.

At NO point have I excused the bikers, AT ALL.
You need some mental health care if you think RR man, having put his family at risk, should have made this ANY worse than he already did.

I know that I'm not going to stop quickly in front of an SUV just because I can. I know that bikes scare a lot of people just because they're bikes.
I know that a mob is a mob and that guy in the SUUV was scared TO DEATH and he did everything he could to get away from the animals attacking him.
When he got stuck in traffic he should have put in in reverse and taken out another dozen
