Stray Friendly Young Boxer - HELP PLEASE

Did Catt take Boxy home with her? I just know that you will miss his one-eyed azz! He is so CUTE!

Not she didn't take him yet, but I was ready just in case, had a 1 gallon bag of his dry food, his rope toy, and his treats with me just in case. They need more time before they can work with him.

I'll continue to foster him until they have found a place for him to go pending placement. He has this way of acting silly and wanting to play and it just makes me laugh. I am so relieved to know he will go on to have a good life with someone.

Too bad he didnt get the family he deserves..with exercise and play time too.

Poor Boxy..No home for Christmas...just a bag of chewies.......

Oh my, I bet Boxy is very content at his foster home and the chewies are more than he would have gotten still wandering the streets. I am sure he appreciates the shelter and having his meals served to him vs digging in trash to find something to eat. Yes it would have been nice if he would have been placed in a permanent home but I am sure he is still happy. Merry Christmas!

I agree Prep - What a lucky boy Boxy is, and despite not having space for another dog, and the difficulty of keeping him away from my dog, I have managed for 6 weeks to provide Boxy with a heated home, with lots of quality food, and he sleeps in a king-sized bed with his own pillow and blankie.

He sure is suffering a lot isn't he? :sarcasm:

How come whenever I read anything you write I want to punch you in your big sanctimonious head?

There are plenty of people helping this dog. I'm getting him vetted this Wednesday.

If you don't have anything constructive to offer or aren't interested in helping, shut up.

A punch to the heart may be more effective.

I admit my dog has gained weight over the past 2 years, but how does a 70 lb dog fit on a large cat bed? LOL

That is the sweetest picture Ark! I thought it was hilarius that my 20 pound Boston curls up in the same size Cat Bed.!! But a 70 pounder? That is just too cute.

How did this vet appt go? Has he become more trusting?

Catt said they believe he doesn't have fear issues, that he's just a dominant dog that doesn't want to be poked and prodded in some ways and becomes disagreeable LOL - She can probably explain it better than me though.
