The GOP's TITANIC Shiavo mistake...

I know it's here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to read this whole thing. Question: How long did the husband wait before he moved on?

Who cares? And wouldn't that just be a kick in the teeth, if by some chance she is fully aware of her surroundings, and she's got the chic bedding her husband also wiping her arse. I wonder if he ever asked Terri beforehand if she'd be cool with that? He'd probably say yes they did, since I fully believe he makes it all up as he goes along. He's an azz and nothing I've read thus far has convinced me otherwise.

I was thinking maybe if Terri were to see ex and his new girlfriend and his new kids standing in her room all together, if that would somehow wake her r up enough to speak or something  (and I don't think it would be kind words to them... :ohwell:)

I agree and I think at the time she supposedly mentioned this twice after seeing family members buried as vegtables (coincidence) that the option WAS NOT stated as to either a) live via feeding machine or b) pull the plug and die of dehydration and starvation for a few weeks... a slow death and national scrutiny. Given the two I think I'd want to stay on the machine... not die out under the microscope of the media to watch me die daily, etc... :frown: Folks have stated that its not about the parents or the husband... it's what about Terri... although I agree but isn't it the general speculation that she's already dead? So then... if she's already gone than what does it matter if the parents get their way or the husband... however the family has more at stake and more to loose in this situation... they loose a life... the husband losses... hmmmm ... can someone remind me again? What does he loose if she lives?

Christy. She has no cerebral cortex. She's not aware of anything.

Plus, you've heard my stories about Larry's ex - I can fully see Marcia being happy that Larry moved on and had a woman who would not only be a companion to him, but would help take care of her as well. I can see it plain as day.

We can argue until we're both blue in the face. But I'm not about to change my opinion. I've read the same things you've read, and merely hold a different view if it all.

I think innocent life has value no matter what, and to err on the side of death, which is the most permanent mistake anyone can make, is just wrong.

The only articles I could find on the net say he started seeing her in 1995 - Terri collapsed in 1990. So he waited 5 years.

Then he should have divorced Terri. You know we're not going to agree on any of this.

To me, the worst part is that the husband is getting trashed in the media and getting death threats from loonies because he's been painted as this guy who's trying to kill his wife. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Maybe I found a compromising point... don't you think it's cruel to die of deliberate starvation and dehydration for a few weeks  Criminals and animals get put down more humanely. :frown:

Good greif vria... do you actually believe that? :frown:
So we are actually getting her the equivalent of being high and its more humane what we are doing to her than prisoners and animals... is that what you and this article is trying to state? They are doing her a huge favor by starving her to death instead of any other inhumane way they can think of

The freakin judges have said, repeatedly, everything is kosher with this case...and nobody wants to believe them. Experts say she is a mess. Nobody wants to believe that. They say she ain't never gonna get better. Can't be. She don't know what's going on around her. Nah. Experts say her death won't be a big deal, nobody wants to believe THAT.

So, there it is. He beat her up. Put her in the hospital. His uncle, the judge, is covering the whole thing up. They sneak in her room at night and poke her in the eye with a stick. They're getting away with murder and nobody can do anything, ANYTHING about it.

Believe that?

...I don't believe that. Terri is the victim here and the world must stop so that...so...that...so that she can sit there and die a dignified, oblivious death somewhere down the line. In the mean time, her being 'alive' will keep her folks off the streets.

No, the worst part is her family having to watch her slowly starve to death and know they can't do a damn thing about it. How horrible would that be? And he is the guy trying to kill his wife.

Yeah well in the 80's the medical "experts" said newborn babies feel no pain and regularly performed surgery on them with no anesthesia. Medical "experts" say lyme disease can be cured with 6 weeks of antibiotics.

It's not horrible for them at all. They're only doing this for money and publicity anyway. All you have to do is take a look at the brother to know that. He said on national TV that Terri didn't have a heart attack, that she was strangled to death by her husband. Neil Cavuto was pandering to him big time and, when the brother said that, Cavuto quickly changed the subject because even HE knows that's bullshit and he's on their side.

After 15 years, doctors would have noticed signs of abuse without the Schindlers pointing it out. Unless....unless.....the doctors are all in on it!!! :jet:
