There was a basic model that was advertised for $299 and another for $399.......Don't ask me what the difference is cause I have not a clue :lol:

My husband spent the night on the sidewalk at Best Buy last night awaiting the sale of the Xbox 360 this morning. He got there at midnight and was 19th in line - there are 52 systems available and the line grew overnight and all are spoken for now. Crazy!! They're coming out at 8am to hand out tickets to the people in line and at 9am they can go in and purchase their systems. It had to be the nastiest night in a LONGGGGGGGG time...the poor things. :lmao:

Apparently people camped out at Wal-Mart yesterday during the day and they handed out tickets at 5pm for the systems that were up for sale at midnight.

My SON was one of the ones at Wal-Mart.. he got there at 8 PM but his friends showed up at 4PM and saved him a spot (three friends in line of which only one wanted an X-Box), so he shows up at 8PM one of the friends steps out so Brian can get inline.. He called me prior and said they were the first ones inline, he gets there come to find out there are 34 people in front of him. Some were there since 9AM. So they start handing out the tickets at around 9PM, the person in front of him and his buddy gets the LAST ticket for the Super System. Brian ends up with a ticket for the lesser X-Box, and goes home to get something to eat.. Haven't talked to him yet, but he was supposed to put it on lay-away so if anymore of them come in he can swap out his for the better one.

I don't know why he didn't think about Best Buy
