Dreamy is only 15.2, she looks bigger though. She is perfect for my 5'1 tall self.
Barncat which events/horse trials do you go to "in the area"? Looks like Marlborough@rosaryville in a couple of the pics? I know we will be doing at least Marlborough rec this year and some unrecognized ones too.

I took the greenies to Marlborough because it was so close. I've done a lot of events, Waredaca, Seneca, Blue Ridge, Fair Hill, VA Horse Trials, Middletown (or was it Middleton)...whichever the one is in Delaware by Fair Hill, I can't remember all the names, some aren't running anymore :shrug: I traveled and had fun. It's been awhile since I've done the unrecognized onces but my favorite unrecognized event was in Middleburg, VA, I can't remember it's name but it was held at a school.

o i have some other pics :the fist pic is of our new horse bones, well his registered name is Swift Action, hes a 8 yr tb that needs some fat on him, but hes a big baby any one can ride, hince my mom riding with my niece Arizona. The other pics are me in flare in western pleasure st.marys fair,english st.marys fair, english(waiting for our trail class) charles county fair, and western trail state this year.

Is the sire a Kemosaby (sp) he has the chicken blaze. A gal at the farm swears that Kemos babies have chicken blazes. I will have to get a pic of her mare and post tommarow

He does go back to Khemosabi...but it's quite a few generations back. His sire is Focus Highlander who is out of Padrons Psyche.

She's adorable!! Gorgeous head and neck!! What color is she? I couldn't tell if she's a rose grey or what. You know how hard it is to tell with those grey babies (if she even is one!). Her father is really nice too! Is the Sport Horse Nationals the one in VA or KY? My friend whose a dressage trainer (the one I mentioned earlier that trained and sold my gelding Jester and will hopefully put some more training time into Sioux) was National Champion 4th Level Open and National Champion Prix St George Open on one of her client's horses (I think his name is Kaswyn-spelling might be wrong there). I know the show was in KY though at the Horse Park cause I went to watch. I think it might have been the Arabian US Nationals (instead of the Sport Horse Nationals) but I could definitely be wrong. I don't have an Arabian though so I'm not all that familar with the shows.

She's going to end up being grey....she's probably going to look just like her momma! When she was born we were almost certain we got a black or dark bay.....she was so dark when she was born!!

The Arabian Sport Horse Nationals are held in Lexington, VA & Idaho...it alternates each year. This year they will be held in Lexington, VA.

The US Arabian Horse Nationals were alternating between Kentucky & New Mexico, but last October was the last time they were held in KY...it will now alternate between New Mexico and Oklahoma.

We had one of those bareback pads on with a white cover to keep the dress clean... I was balanced up there but I wasn't on long.. just for photos... it was sooo hot that day.

Those are great picture. Keep them coming! I showed at BrightLeaf Farm from 78-81. What memories! Remember the back ring (pasture) for the jumping classes. The distances between the jumps felt H U G E. I bet if I saw the area now its more like a small corral that a huge pasture, which it felt like then.

She is a Hanovarian/thoroughbred. She is a very social horse!
