My point, and the point I'd like to remain focused on is that if you're asking for stuff, I find it extremely rude and arrogant to reject stuff becuase you don't like it for some reason.

Tell that to little Susie while she's sitting in the corner pulling the string out of the back of her Jesus doll.

I'll take one. I hang 'em upside down all over my house.

But if you hang them upside down won't the luck run out of them? Oh wait, that only applies to horseshoes. :jameo:

I don't have you on ignore.

You may have noticed that I'm a relative newcomer to this discussion. I haven't read every single post that's been posted here.

And I've acknowleded what you said there.

Does hanging a cross upside down make the hypocrisy run out?

Being smart  I believe that there a whole lot of stupid people in the world.

Is this your reply?

I can imagine some poor 8 year olds face when they open their Christmas present and find a Leapfrog learn-to-read toy.. talk about throwing his lot in life in his face. Other kids will be showing off their new clothes, new skateboard, new sneakers, their new handheld games, and little johny Loser gets to sit in the corner and learn to read. "If your mother was better educated you would have got a cool toy too!!!"

Not bad enough that he's poor, now all the other kids have another reason to pick on him.

But you know what, they'll take any chance and any reason they can to try to indoctrinate a young mind...

I agree with the educated part.. it seems the "not so good" people in the world prey on the illiterate and the uneducated, to include the not so smart in this country.. Preying on the uneducated or uninformed isn't limited to Terrosists and Islam, though they seem to be better at it then most.

It's seems the Muslims have caught on to "get them while they are young", starting with Nursery Rhymes about killing Americans and Israeli's to School Yard songs, and even cartoons on their local channels.

Songs about how great Islam is, and how they should look forward to the glory of being a Martyr for Islam, killing as many Israeli's and Americans as possible, being sung by pre-schoolers.

Maybe we should donate Islamic Song Books to go along with the talking Jesus', Muslims believe in Jesus too don't they?

Depends: Did you give it to me because you're being nice and you think I'd benefit from it, or are you giving it to me because you think I'm a close-minded tool and you believe this is a good way to tweak my nose?

And you might think I'm full of it, but I've been planning on re-reading the Koran lately so I wouldn't mind at all.

And I can see that this thread is no longer a discussion, but has turned into a venue to see who can come up with the cleverest insults.

And on that note, I believe I'll take a bow.

If they gave them to me during Ramadan - or if some Irish guy gave me some kind of candle or or scapular on St Patrick's - or if a Jewish guy invited me over for sedir but actually had kosher food - I wouldn't think anything of it. I don't have a problem with people with their religion.

As far as gifts go, unless it's intended for my harm - like giving me flaming dog poop or a bomb - I'm always grateful for gifts, even when they're not my size or they're something I won't use, because I realize they could have always given me what most people give - NOTHING.
